Dr. Death Steve Williams Wrestlemania XV figure. That thing lined pegs at mall toy stores from the day they were released until the day the stores all closed. This, and that red Jackie figure which came out around the same time. Those things ROTTED on shelves. Also, several years ago, the Eric Bischoff in karate gear and Paul Heyman figures stuck around for the longest time. On Mattels end, the Legends line bombed for the most part (ended at retail with Series 6 last year). There are still stores with plentiful amounts of Ricky Steamboat, Terry Funk and a few others. Kmart, mainly.

I was still seeing 1997-8 era Taka and Brian Christopher figures (i think they were the "bendy" ones) on shelves as late as early 2001.

If we can include WCW in WWE merch then I remember for years around here at gas stations you could still get WCW mugs with WCW shirts in them.

There's a bunch of 97-2004 stuff that will probably be on this list that I wound up with. I was what I'm going to call a Kanepletist. Absolutely anything with Kane on it released in that time, I bought. So no matter how insane, at least one person bought it.
Kane mini-skateboard Kane riding a motorcycle Kane die cast car (two, I believe) Kane vs Undertaker LCD wrestling game Kane lollipop Maximum Sweat Kane (unmasked variant) At least a dozen Bone Crunching Action Kanes (all the exact same mold with slightly different paint apps. This includes any multi-packs) Kane leather glove Biography of Kane (first WWE book released in paperback... that I had to special order because nobody carried it).
I believe the ONLY Kane item I could never track down was the S.T.O.M.P. 3 one.

I'd be very surprised if anyone bought this: Literally what I came in here to post. Poor guy wore that shirt everywhere for like a year plus. And he was the only one in the arena every time. It almost became just a part of his attire after a while; at a certain point, it started to become weirdly iconic just because of how you'd see it EVERY week on Smackdown. Hell, I bet Chavo still sleeps in that thing. I can't picture him wearing any other shirt, that's how much I associate him with it.

In terms of figures, I always remember the "legends box" figures from around 1998. There was Andre, Freddie Blassie and Jimmy Snuka and they were ALWAYS at Toys r us.
This was around that weird period of time where WWF wouldn't mention that Hogan and Savage were legends, and made it seem like Andre was the one who led the 80's boom. '

The Mr. Socko "Doll". I literally saw ONE ad for that (and i think it may have been on Heat to boot) and no more. Probably because anyone can make their own Mr. Socko. Now, as it pertains to videos, i know only ONE person who owns that "WWE: The Videos" thing (its a collection of titantron vids, no really). I own over 375 WWE DVD's and Blu Rays.... But not that one.

The Val Venus sperm shirt? Having recently watched WrestleMania 2000, I cannot believe that shirt actually existed.

Long as we're talking bad T-shirts, the Sable's Body Shop one with all those double-meanings for what she charged for "checking your dipstick", "detailing your headlights" and "pump it yourself".
Did they actually sell that thing, or was that a joke item? Even at my worst, I wouldn't want to be seen in public with that thing on.

This is the first time I've actually seen the penis, I always thought people were saying that Cara's actual head and body were the penis but didn't really see it, well now I see it. Daaaamn I also thought that the penis was Cara himself but now after you said it I just realised it.
