Decent in the ring for a guy his size, but no real personality. He was another one of those "perfect tag team wrestlers", where if you paired him with a guy that could talk, they could have been huge. I agree with this.

He was trash.
The only thing he had was a look. He wasnt the worst hand in the ring, but there were lots of guys around him at the time that were better and could've filled the roles he was given. He was given a variety of different pushes and not once made the most of it.

I always felt he should have been called "The Test", which wouldn have sounded a lot more imposing than just plain Test. In general, he was an extremely impressive big man who could talk without embarrasing himself.

Decent wrestler but had no other personality other than the stereotypical "arrogant jock" character we've seen hundreds of times in wrestling and other media.

Wasn't really a fan. He had a nice flying elbow, but I just couldn't get into his matches for the most part and when he randomly appeared back in WWE's ECW, it was as if he'd transformed into a barrel.
He seemed to be an okay fit there, but whoever had the idea for him to get intentionally counted out from a PPV title match as the challenger was a complete dope that ruined any chance of him sticking around.
Just the same, I was saddened to hear of his passing.

He was OK in the beginning.
But he got so roided out at the end as to be completely silly looking.

Test was pretty impressive for a man of his size, and it was disappointing that he didn't have at least one World Title. I don't even know why he got roided up, he didn't really need it.

I remember him being REALLY over during the first part of 2001 before the Invasion. Like when he beat Regal for the European title the crowd went insane. I kind of feel like him joining the Alliance really hurt him.
When he came back to ECW though... man he looked so disgusting from the Roids.
Apparently a really cool dude out of the ring, he just developed a love for the roids.

Apparently a really cool dude out of the ring, he just developed a love for the roids. It didn't hurt him that bad, other than pigeonholing him into a role as Booker T's flunky. He did get two tag title reigns, an IC Title reign. The Immunity Battle Royal thing was pointless though, as it didn't lead into any programs. The Un-Americans stable probably hurt him more than the Invasion, as the Immunity angle was dropped. They could have put him into a feud with one of the many babyfaced jobber-to-the-stars types they had at the time like Orton, Cena, Maven or Shannon Moore, as those guys seemed pretty over, but they were floundering as well, doing nothing other than being fodder for the likes of Lesnar, Batista, D-Von, Billy & Chuck, and Rico.

He had the size, he had the look, he was alright in the ring, but he didn't have a whole lot in the way of charisma. The size at what expense? Was getting jacked up on Test, especially during his last run with TNA I believe, worth it? I always thought they were trying to make him Nash v 2.0. Never a fan.

TNA released him for being too obviously on steroids.
I repeat: TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION released someone because they were on steroids. That really says something.

He had that, "this guy's heart is going to explode any second" kind of look.

I liked his theme. "Test. This is a test. Test, test. This is a test. Glabyglooglabyglabygloobyglooglee."

Off Topic but I so read the title of this thread in my head to the rhythm of Salt 'N Peppa's "Let's Talk About Sex"
Let's talk about test baby. Let's talk about Albert and he. Let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be. Let's talk about Test.

I liked the match with Shane and even thought his match with Taker at SummerSlam 02 (back when he was doing the UnAmericans thing with Christian and Storm) was decent. I don't think I paid much attention to him other than during those two feuds/matches.
Oh yeah, there was the whole Steph/HHH/Test wedding angle as well. Wanted to see HHH get his ass kicked for that.

Shame he's no longer with us and everything, but I thought he sucked. An instant channel changer.

He was getting a push in 1999 until Russo left. I think he may have been a Russo guy. Russo said during a shoot that his original plan for the Test/Stephanie wedding was that Test would leave her at the alter and join DX. Test would start to lead DX, with Triple H getting jealous. Eventually, DX would turn on Test, leading to a feud between him and Triple H. Test leading DX...there's a very, very good reason why that never happened. It's a good idea by Russo in theory, but Test...leading DX. I really liked Test, as a kid never understood why he wasn't a main eventer. I guess I understand now, the main event scene back then was Austin, Taker, Foley, HHH, Kane, and Test just wasn't on that level. I do feel like more could have been done with him though, he was over and had momentum.

Let's talk about Test baby, let's talk about you and me...Let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be... Only reason I came in this thread. Nailing it, FAN Forums. Nailing it. The exact first thing I thought of too. We're all on a certain sort of wavelength.
