I hope it doesn't get screwed in movepool like most of the Eevee family does. Maybe they'll also finally give Flareon Flare Blitz. I am not holding my breath, though, since Game Freak are jerks like that sometimes.

Sylvieon looks like a normal type, but the name suggests steel type?

I dunno, could be Steel, but the Sylv part seems to be pointing at it potentially being a Grass type. Which I really doubt, but I dunno. I'm hoping for Dragon, but we'll see.

Btw does anyone else think that Sylveon could be a legendary pokemon if it wasn't a eevee evolution?

I could see it, as kind of the game's Mew. Wouldn't look out of place next to, say, Jirachi and Shaymin.
Unrelated, why am I subjecting myself to reloading for a shiny Registeel? Its shiny isn't even that great-looking. Do have the Shiny Charm so my odds are severely heightened, but still, so much wasted time on this so far.

I just kind of wish they did a generation without any Legendary Pokemon. You have enough from previous generations, and since they wind up in the game anyhow, just continue the previous lore through the current games.

Very unlikely it'd be a type covered already, so I am doubting it'[d be grass, due to Leafeon. If they did introduce a type, and they likely won't, it would either need to be super effective against Water or be weak to Poison. Water is realistically only really checked by the availability of Thunderbolt/Thunderpunch and other Water types blocking them, while Poison is a seriously underutilized offensive type.

In regard to Sylveon I'd guess normal what with the pastel colours matching with other 'cute' normal types like delcatty, blissey, wigglytuff, clefairy, miltank, mew etc ...

I would like to see a new type, again probably a light type, to help the normal type. (give some normal pokemon a dual type) since their not strong against any type and pretty much the fighting type bitch atm.

I don't want a new type! We have 17 already! I want more type combinations instead. How about a pistol shrimp that is water/fire? A poison/ice type, dark/electric, another electric/ghost etc. There is ton they can do. I think adding a new type is dumb. Its going to be like dark and steel in that they will take a few generations down the line to get better moves and more pokemon.

I agree, I would rather not get a new type.
I hope Pokemon starts helping a lot of the Fire types with their gimped movepools. Quite a few more of them should be allowed to learn Scald, for instance.
