Flair/Steamboat, '89. Basically take your pick of the 3, as it changes every time I watch them. This. I go with the Clash of Champions in New Orleans, 2 falls out of 3 with Flair submitting to the double chickenwing in the second fall

When I think of the greatest match I think of:
Kevin Steen vs. Super Dragon - Guerilla Warfare match at Astonishing X-Mas (2005)
There are better matches, but it sticks in my mind.

My pick comes from the first match from the first Pay Per View I ever saw, Dean Malenko v. Rey Mysterio Halloween Havoc 1996. I think it's better than the Eddie/Rey match that took place the next year. It ruled hard and was the match that made me realize that I'm always going to be a wrestling fan.

Another absolute favorite of mine is the Masahiro Chono vs Kenta Kobashi match from '03.

September 4th 1994
Steve Williams v Kenta Kobashi
If you havent seen it PLEASE do yourself a favor. This match is sick drama. It's about 45 minutes long and the last 30 minutes of it are finishing moves, high impact moves and near falls. Im surprised the crowd survived

I'm going to mention another Kobashi match... this one against Samoa Joe. Joe comes out to a big pop and chants. Kobashi chants start before his entrance does. His music hits, crowd goes nuts, it doesn't stop from there. The only psychology around it is two hard hitting SOB's going at it, old school style. Epic as hell. Awesome crowd.

Triple H vs TAKA from Raw. The dominant heel WWF Champion vs a comedy jobber...and they made you believe that TAKA might actually win the title.

Virtually ANY title defense of Bryan Danielson's reign in RoH, not involving Homicide. It's hard to single one out. He made Nigel, Roddy and Delirious into serious players. Plus the matches he had with Samoa Joe, Kenta and Lance Storm were classics. I think I am in a minority but I just wasn't interested in his storyline with Homicide. Hell I thought him and Colt Cabana was more compelling. Not to mention Chris Hero/Danielson started the RoH CZW war. That was a great year to follow RoH.

As soon as I read your question I typed my answer so as not to be influenced by what others said.
That's a really tough question. I can tell you the ones that I keep watching over and over again and never get bored of.
Bret vs. Owen WM10 (perfect match)
Hogan vs. Warrior WM6 (unheard of face vs face match, it was like two Hulk Hogan's fighting each other)
Bret vs. Austin WM13 (perfect match)
Hogan vs. Macho Man WMV (the build up was so incredible)
The Royal Rumble Match 1992 - Flair wins title (best roster in history)
Bret vs. Piper WM8 (amazing chemistry)
Team Hart vs. Team Austin - Canadian Stampede (explosive fans) Taker vs. Mankind HIAC (clips that will be replayed for the rest of wrestling history)
Rock vs. Hogan WMX-8 (the last explosive crowd I've seen and Hogan's last best match)
Mickie James vs. Trish Wrestlemania (best Diva match in history)
Out of all those to me the greatest match of all time was Bret vs. Owen WM10.
Perfectly executed match with actual wrestling and psychology. A match that had a build since Survivor Series and a feud that continued until Summerslam.
Bret vs. Austin WM13 would be my next choice.
