Punk/Jericho by a country mile for me. No match even came close.

Punk/Jericho by a country mile for me. No match even came close. Guess you were watching a different event to the majority of us then. Punk/Jericho was boring as hell for the first 10 or so minutes. It had little to get excited about leading up to yes, an exciting finish.

1. Taker-HHH was an instant classic and will probably be the match of the year. 30 minutes (45 if you count entrances/aftermath) of nonstop awesomeness.
2. Rock-Cena was damn good too. Rock looked blown up (it was his first real singles match in 9 years to be fair) but Cena covered from him well. The ending was brilliant.
3. Punk-Jericho felt like a carbon copy of Edge-Jericho 2 years ago. A pedestrian match with an exciting ending. I still say this match should have went on first when people would have been excited for it. I don't think the crowd would have dead for it 90% of the way if it went on first.
Nothing else is really worth mentioning.

Punk/Jericho by a country mile for me. No match even came close. Agreed, but that is only because every other match was boring as hell. Even Punk/Jericho wasn't as good as it probably could have been. I really don't understand the love the HIAC is getting around here.

HHH/Taker was just f***ing brilliant story-telling, had me captivated the whole way through.
Rock/Cena was great too and I thought lived up to the hype. Punk/Jericho was a very good, slow-burner match but the DQ stipulation added nothing and the crowd were still worn out after HHH/Taker. I have a feeling their inevitable Extreme Rules rematch will be the one that really tears the house down.

Cena/Rock gets my vote. It was the classic "WW(F)E Style" of a Match. Some test of strengths to start it out, a bunch of slams & reversals, Big finishers/signatures, and a surprise ending.
Triple H & Taker really impressed me. I was ragging on this match here for the past few weeks, and it ended up being a top notch match. I agree with the posters that think it was pointless to do the match in the Cell. The Cell itself added nothing to the match.
Punk/Jericho was great. I didn't like the build to this match at all. But once it was match time, the build didn't matter. It was all about the two guys trying to be the "Best in the world." a real fun match to watch.
Orton Kane was much better than anticipated. They put on a nice show.
Team Johnny vs Team Teddy was fun. I expected tons of shenanigans & got them.
I know a lot of people around here didn't like Show/Cody, but I did. I Thought it was the right call for show to win, since they booked themselves in a corner.
And, Finally, Thanks to that Gif that's floating around here, I saw D-Bry vs Sheamus. I missed it while taking a piss when it happened live.

I pretty much wasted my entire energy during HHH vs Taker...and I watched it at home. Seriously, the match was so great that I didn't want it to end. One of the most emotional matches I've ever seen.

Taker-HHH.
After that, Rock-Cena then Jericho-Punk.

Punk/Jericho to me. I'm a little surprised people said the match was boring for 90% of it. I thought both guys were really moving fast and actually doing a lot of wrestling where as HIAC had a lot of waiting around and cutting to different expressions in the ring in between chair shots and irish whips into stuff. I mean, I get the drama of it but I thought Punk/Jericho still managed to be more physical and it didn't need all the necessary pomp and circumstance like mystery haircuts and entrance music for props. That being said HIAC was my second favorite match.

I felt it dragged a bit towards the end but HHH vs. Taker was by far the best match on the show and nothing else got above 'good' status.

Tough call, but I had to give Punk/Jericho the nod over Undertaker/HHH. The latter had the most captivating story by far, but also a fair amount of repetition and stalling, and there wasn't a whole lot of psychology behind the moves beyond "beat the hell out of the other guy until he stays down".
Granted, sometimes that's all you need in a wrestling match, but my inner mark likes fancy strategies. Still, I enjoyed both matches immensely.

HHH/Taker by a landslide. Best match I've ever seen live.

Taker vs. Triple H was amazing for the sheer fact that someone FINALLY dominated and destroyed Triple H. I marked so hard when Taker stood on the hammer and just shook his head. However, my favorite match was Punk vs. Jericho. That was just straight-up wrestling, which I'm a big fan of. Damn shame WWE treated it like an afterthought. I was furious at the crowd reaction for that match. Myself and the 2 people next to me were literally the only people that made a peep in my section until the false finishes started happening. It's just disheartening to watch 2 guys go out and give it their all and the crowd just yawn and wait for the finish. I do think Taker/HHH drained the crowd a lot, and the match didn't have that kind of gravitas to it so the fans didn't give a damn. That's the problem with doing these legend type matches, you barely give the current guys any chance to compete, because those guys have so much more history to play off of. I know they make a ton of money, but they're screwing the company in the long run.

HITC was epic and the best match. But I apsolutely loved Punk vs Jericho and Cena vs Rock as well. The false finishers in all the main events were incredible.

I was in the fourth row, and I genuinely had goose bumps the whole way through the Hell In A Cell match. Just such a perfect match in terms of psychology and story telling - from all three guys in there. Maybe the best match ever - certainly the best match I have seen in person by a country mile. Or a continent mile even.
If you were to be hyper critical you could say they didn't use the cell enough - but really who cares? What a match.
Cena v Rock I have yet to watch the replay but it was epic being there - the crowd were just so hot and I genuinely had a headache by the end of it. I got too excited lol. Never thought the Rock would win which really made me go a little daft when his hand was raised.
Punk v Jericho was also brilliant - just a pure wrestling match. We were all still exhausted after the Hell in a Cell match. Was still a great match, and loved the finishing moments. I was also proud of my GAN ON TAKE A DRINK sign.
I may be biassed but I thought all three were classics, with Hell in a Cell the best of the three.
