The point was promoters look down on their guys killing themselves. My point stands nothing wrong with Quack firing Pinkie. What Pinkie does outside of Chikara, or what anybody else chooses to do outside of Chikara, ought to be their own business. And wrestling deathmatches =/= "killing yourself". If Pinkie was able to do that and stay in good enough shape that it didn't affect his work in Chikara, there was absolutely no justifiable reason for Quack to stop using him.

Quack let Mantis do a deathmatch, and it was a good one. It's even on his best of DVD.

5/8/2012: It's a good thing I make it a point to watch every Sara Del Rey match closely. Lafayette, Indiana...her match with Obariyon was no exception. I don't know exactly what it is The Batiri had planned for Sara...I saw them start binding her hands, and I made a bee-line for the entranceway before it went any further. Even against a foe as formidable as The Queen of Wrestling, three against one is far from fair. For weeks, maybe months now, The Batiri have taken to mocking Sara, humiliating her, taking every opportunity to ridicule and bully her. They sure have a lot to say on Twitter. But I guess when there's no keyboard in front of them, all they can manage are some grunts and shrieks. You creeps will be doing a lot more shrieking on June 2nd. I've seen quite enough of your sick, twisted antics. I can't claim to be the same calibre wrestler of a Manami Toyota, a Daizee Haze, or a Madison Eagles. But I can stand beside the wrestler that inspired me to step into the squared circle. Sara, I've watched you blaze a path for yourself. And maybe asking for someone's help isn't your style. Well you don't have to ask. If you have a score to settle with The Batiri, then so do I. The two of us against the three of them? Seems unfair to The Batiri. SATURYNE

Being the person to post this on 101, I was also the first to comment. Hopefully I phrased it kayfabely enough for LFC's taste when I said: "I would like this better if it were a trios match. If it stays a handicap tag, I'm hoping for the Batiri to win just because they're gonna look terrible if they can't, and I don't want the Batiri to look terrible." Not having to worry about sticking to kayfabe or being overly critical of the booking here, I will elaborate and say that having Death Rey and Saturyne go over in this one would be only slightly less of a WallBanger than having Akuma go over all three members of FIST.

As the biggest Batiri mark on these here boards, I really hope they win against SDR and Saturyne. Their twitter and facebook posts have made them babyfaces to me.

That's Quack's side of the story. Mean while Lince, and a few others, have said he tried to tell Quack he wanted less bookings with CHIKARA because he was moving & Quack threw a fit & ignored him, scheduling him anyways. Where are you getting all these so called scumbag Quack stories if you don't mind me asking? Have you just been compiling a list of random things you've heard of various forums? Why wouldn't Lince do the shows he was scheduled for months in advance? Partially the net, partially interviews with the CHIKARA guys and those connected to them (which is exceptionally easy to find if you're a fan of these guys and follow them), mostly? As I said before, I have some friends within the CHIKARA locker room. Albeit some of them aren't there anymore for one reason or another. Guys I've known for years and have shot the shit with for as long. Who only once in a while bring this stuff up to me or if they bring up the topic of wrestling, I ask. As I try to give them as much respect for their profession as I can. I also typically ask them if they care if I mention it else where, as long as I don't name drop anybody, they don't. And he wouldn't do the shows because he specifically asked Quack not to book him & Quack booked him anyways. Because Quack feels Lince Dorado is his character to do with as he likes. So if that means making Lince, the performer, look bad in the process & give Quack a reason to drop the ban hammer on him, so be it. It isn't the first time Quack's tried to distort the facts to make him look better. Why I tend to take what Quack said about the situation with a grain of salt and take what others have said with a little bit more credit. And as we've gone over, it's one of the worst kept secrets that LFC is Quack. He even flubbed up a few times on the 101 board and had to delete his own posts to prevent too many people from seeing it & putting two & two together. SSB didn't get booked at PWG till later, this is true, however they've been trying to get booked there for a while now. Especially after the Jigsaw ROH incident, Quack's seemingly gotten weird when what he sees as his talent tries to get booked at bigger places like ROH & PWG. And as for all the "BS calling", okay, if you don't want to believe it, so be it. Not going to force it down your throat. Though yes, my point at name dropping Mantis when talking about Pinkie is how hypocritical it is of Quack to dump Pinkie over that. He let's Mantis do it but not Pinkie? Admittedly, different times in CHIKARA's history and different people helping run things behind the scenes. Point still stands. While the example I gave was mild compared to other examples, it was the first one that popped into my head. Partially because it was the first time I got annoyed by how Jigsaw was being booked. And honestly, overall, 'Wicked doesn't get pushed too heavily. Yeah he's won most of the titles in CHIKARA but he's a more properly booked talent. One, he's kind of underrated with how talented he is, as Spank mentioned. Two, he tends to go through major lulls in terms of pushes where he'll float around, doing nothing or job, job, job. Then he'll get the YLC, tag belts, whatever and have a somewhat strong push. Then back to limbo for him. To me, not only in talent but also pushes, Wicked & Jigsaw are apples and oranges to me.

And now Chikara's going through the biggest, saddest part of being a "cult favorite" promotion: The wrestling equivalent of sectarian violence.

And now Chikara's going through the biggest, saddest part of being a "cult favorite" promotion: The wrestling equivalent of sectarian violence. Don't you just love it, Spanky? And yimyac, I'll be waiting eagerly for this reply. To get this thread back on topic... In other news, that Crabtree/MMA match is all buys, no filler for me! I'm also cautiously looking forward to the Batiri match. Honestly, save for some heavy shenanigans, I can't see the Batiri losing this one. Or, rather, they shouldn't. Even if SDR is awesome and has been shown to be able to man handle people.

I think, just to sidestep a possibility of breaking some rules about down talking other forums here, because I think we're already in a kind of "grey area" there, maybe that particular discussion should be PM?

When it comes to Sat/SDR vs the Batiri, I'd hope The Batiri will win, Saturyne taking the pin.
And say this as a fan of both Saturyne and SDR. It just wouldn't be a good idea to make the Batiri look weak, which is what losing handicap matches do (see, there's a non-gender related reason, just in case anyone was skeptical).
