I remember reading about a month or two ago a report saying that Vince wanted to make this year's draft the biggest one they've had yet. The guy who wrote the report said that sending Cena to SmackDown to help their house shows and tv would be huge.
Now with this whole Lesnar situation on the horizon, it's difficult to figure out what Cena's going to be doing after Extreme Rules. Most people here seem to think he's getting time off, but isn't it possible that he'll get drafted to SmackDown to shake that show up instead? I mean it'd be in effect right after the Lesnar match if it happens at ER and would give him something to do for the next few months.

I could see it happening mostly because Cena could still show up on RAW with the advent of the "SuperShow" structuring. It would be a good change for him and Smackdown.

Would give him some fresh feuds. Honestly, a change would do him good

Id love to see him back on the blue show. But there is only one problem, i better not see Orton vs Cena again.

What's the point of a draft anymore when SD guys have to pull double duty? Shouldn't everyone want to get drafted to Raw, so they don't have to kayfabe do so much?

I think Punk and Sheamus switching seemed more likely before WM. Now, I don't know. Cena moving wouldn't make much sense though.

The brand split still exists?

Orton and DB to Raw.

The brand split still exists? It means little more than what title you qualify to contend for. I wouldn't care about it as much if they just went with storylines rather than "generic chase for title #304"

Mark Henry was in a WWE title match on Raw and Alberto Del Rio has a WHC match in the future.

The brand split is for house show line ups and what show you're most likely to appear on during the week.

He was drafted to Smackdown last time, so it wouldn't be the biggest shock.
... Granted, 5 minutes later he was drafted back to Raw.

I would be surprised if they move their biggest star to Smackdown! If so it will show confidence in CM Punk and the rest of the RAW roster.
But I don't see it happening. WWE will surely want the Lesnar Cena feud to play out on RAW.

WWE will surely want the Lesnar Cena feud to play out on RAW. He can still appear on Raw if he's on SmackDown. He'll just be on all of the SD house shows and maybe a SmackDown show itself sometimes
