Edge beating Matt Hardy. He took his girl, out promo'd him, and then turned around and beat his ass. He completely clowned Matt. Of course, in hindsight, that was just fiction imitating reality. Don't forget, he also got Hardy kicked off RAW just like in real life too.

I never got how HHH losing to Warrior was embarrassing. At all. Wasn't Warrior a top guy and HHH in his pre-Conan, curtsey phase?

It wasn't a loss, but Booker T in TNA actually needing help from his wife to beat a damn referee on PPV. So sickening to see. Well, that's Sharmell Syndrome for you. He goes from wrestling competently for the title and beating people cleanly... to being one of the least effective cowardly heels in recent memory.

I remember an episode of Velocity where the Basham Brothers needed interference from Shaniqua to beat two local jobbers.

What was the point of Matt getting destroyed by Edge? Edge was a real-life and kayfabe heel who never got his comeuppance.
'Matt Hardy will never die' was a terrible gimmick.

Would you consider Orton and Cena taking apart almost half the raw roster I think that would be it. 2 on 17 elimination match. And the 17 are the underdogs. And then they did it again with Kennedy and the ECW Roster.

I'm going to say Cena and Orton beating the entire Raw roster. That was just so incredibly stupid... and then they did it again two months later with Trips and Kennedy against the whole ECW roster. They lost that one at least, but barely and they still laid them out to end the segment.

Santino versus ANYONE when he gets pushed.
-Versus Umaga when he debuts. Granted Lashley helped him, but still, it's never good when someone who debuts AS A FAN wins the title his first night. -Versus the Divas division/Beth Phoenix, and somehow turning face during the whole thing, and the crowd getting behind him. Hah?!? -Versus Sheamus, who at this point had won his two WWE titles, and never got his comeuppance from losing to Santino, and the whole thing was just to set up a Sheamus/Morrison feud, which could have been done numerous other ways just to set it up.
I'd argue about beating Slater and Gabriel for the tag belts, or even beating Swagger for the US title, but...yeeeeaaaah...

Yes he did, several times in fact I believe. I vividly remember there was a Raw where Sheamus beat Santino's ass. He even landed the Celtic Cross and in one instance kept droping knees on his head until the ref stopped the match.

It's pretty humiliating losing cleanly to Matt Hardy. I mean it's Matt Hardy. Blasphemy. V1 Hardy was gold. My vote goes to anyone who was in the rumble SHORTER than the time of Drew Carey.

IIRC Jim Ross pinned Triple H a couple weeks after he lost the World title to Batista.

The 1-2-3 Kid over Razor Ramon on RAW back in '93. I remember Razor offering the Kid money for a rematch("For $7,500, I'd have everyone in the Manhattan Center standing on their heads naked!"), Kid agreed when Razor offered $10,000, then took the money and ran halfway through the match. And this turned Razor face when Ted DiBiase Sr. made fun of Razor losing to the Kid. Then DiBiase lost to the Kid while he was taunting Razor during the match.

I never got how HHH losing to Warrior was embarrassing. At all. Wasn't Warrior a top guy and HHH in his pre-Conan, curtsey phase? Warrior had been gone for a few years, and that was his first match back I think. He wasn't a top guy after that either and didn't stick around long. I guess it would be similar to Brock coming back to face Dolph Ziggler, no selling the Zig Zag, then beating him. Then proceeding to do nothing else important before leaving again. It's not exactly embarrassing, but it would be really strange to see that footage again a few years later when Ziggler is the top heel in the company.
