Screw seeing Camacho wrestle, I want to see Sakamoto. Those were some fierce looking kicks on the outside. Yoshi might want to watch himself... Sakamoto vs. Ricardo BOOK IT!

Speaking of the...I guess it would be Kanji on his face?? I did notice a quick "jab" that MVP sent to him over Twitter. He mentioned on a Sunday the week after his debut something about Tensai having to go to makeup and have writing put on early. I mentioned that Tensai should sneak in a dirty phrase soon...see if anyone catches it!! It's mostly kanji; part of it is in hiragana, which is a writing system/syllabery used by younger writers in order to prep them to use kanji as well as for words that do not have kanji. The symbols right under his eye are all in hiragana. Right under that, there are a pair of kanji, the first one being "ten" or heaven. I'm not sure what the other one means, though it might have a weather connotation (tenki means weather, literally 'weather energy'). I'm terrible at Japanese, so people more skilled than I can translate what's all on his face.

I started to try to translate, but it was difficult since I couldn't read all the kanji on that screenshot, and also didn't realize that some of the words were broken in half to always have four characters/row. But then I found a site where someone from Japan had written down them a week or two ago: 天災がやってきた - Tensai has come/arrived 警告なく - without warning 理由なく - without reason 逃げ道はない - there's no (way to) escape Repeated over and over. Edit: And now that I look at the image again, they apparently screwed up the order below his eye...

I think the worst thing is that they keep saying "He was a former WWE superstar who went to Japan and dominated" without actually saying who he was - do they think we're all stupid and don't recognise him?

I really don't get why they have been keeping it secret. Have someone come right up and call him Albert or A-Train to his face, and him destroy them in response.

Not fussed either way. Not liking this gimmick at all.

They should use the "ALBERT" chants as part of his character. Much like when Festus heard the bell, when Tensai hears "ALBERT" he gets pissed about the embarrassment of his past, and begins to destroy. (to a degree of course. If the fans run wild with it, then obviously it won't work, but it could be fun for a couple weeks while at least acknowledging the chants)

Does the gimmick really NEED those Kanji symbols? I don't really feel as if they pull me into his character at all and just looks like someone used a rolling stamp on his face.

Agreed, it would work better if they just out-and-out said he used to be Albert. Maybe make one of those cool video packages to explain his transformation. Either way, it would stop the "ALBERT" chants that are gonna continue.
