Poor Titus, "Darren Young and a new manager".

This looked like they are actually going to end NXT. Hawkins and Reks fired from the show, Curtis and Maxine must stay handcuffed till its over, O'Neil and Young given Smackdown contracts. It does seem like it is tying up loose ends. That sounds like a whacky ending for a TV show, so for NXT it would be perfect.

Next week we see Hawkins and Reks sitting on the streets wondering what they're going to do until a bus pulls up with Jacob Novak, Byron Saxton, Conor O'Brien, and Lucky Cannon. "Room for two more" says Lucky with a creepy wink. Curt and Tyler sigh before sitting down as the vehicle goes off into the sunset.

This nxt is ending, what is their last match? Their "Sting/Flair"?
Is it Curtis/Bateman? Maxine/Kaitlyn? Kidd/Somebody?

The final NXT: Johnny Curtis comes out to receive, as the last winner of an NXT tournament, the prestigious NXT Championship, and he'll defend it to close out the show.
Ezekiel Jackson beats Curtis and wins the title, then proceeds to do nothing with it. Swerve!

Hawkins trained The Rock, I really doubt he's getting fired for real. Besides, this would imply that the WWE was actually going through the effort of writing out the characters of people they fire. And that's just crazy talk! Hawkins training with Rock does nothing for his job security. Rock isn't around anymore to campaign for him (if Rock even cares). If Hawkins is released, Rock will post a tweet about it, include some inspirational hashtag of course, and that'll be it. Rock's said he's coming back, and WWE likes people who make themselves useful.

Wait, wait. How can Regal fire members of another brand's roster?

Wait, wait. How can Regal fire members of another brand's roster? I wondered that as well. NXT is technically not a brand, and Regal is technically not a GM, just the "Match Coordinator".
