*Percy Watson b. Johnny Curtis (w/ Maxine) with a reverse F5 type of move. Neither man was that over.
*Maxine b. Kaitlyn via dragon sleeper. Said to be a decent scrap, bar one slip-up. Curtis did commentary during the match. Regal made Maxine the official manager of Johnny Curtis. He said they would both be fired if that didn't happen.
*Titus O'Neil and Darren Young were shown backstage. They received a letter saying they'd both been drafted to SmackDown. Matt Striker was shown with a smiling Curt Hawkins.
*Tyler Reks b. Curt Hawkins - Matt Striker was the referee. William Regal announced that the loser will be fired. However, after the match, Striker punched Hawkins, but then Regal announced that both Reks and Hawkins would be fired.

Patti Mayonnaise Mickie Mickie You're So Fine... Hey Mickie!
Uh oh. Looks like Hawkins and Reks will be on the spring cleaning list this year.
Sucks because I think they're really missing the boat on Hawkins.
Hawkins trained The Rock, I really doubt he's getting fired for real. Besides, this would imply that the WWE was actually going through the effort of writing out the characters of people they fire. And that's just crazy talk!

I'm praying that both will survive. I figure they'll lay low for a few weeks and then do a run in on RAW or SmackDown.
I used to think this way too, but I remember a few years back they did an angle where Vince fired Rob Conway for losing a match, and then he got legit fired right afterwards.

* William Regal and Josh Mathews are out for commentary.
* Johnny Curtis with Maxine vs. Percy Watson opens NXT. Percy gets the win with the flapjack. William Regal takes a mic and praises Watson. Regal announces Maxine vs. Kaitlyn up next.
* Maxine beats Kaitlyn with a sleeper hold.
* Regal talks about Matt Striker's kidnapping. Regal forces Curtis and Maxine to sign a contract that makes her his manager then Regal handcuffs them together.
* Backstage promo with Darren Young and a new manager going to SmackDown apparently. We see Matt Striker smiling and sporting a new walking cane.
* Backstage promo with Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. They come to the ring and say they didn't kidnap Matt Striker. Striker comes out and goes to hit them with his cane but Regal interrupts. Regal announces Reks vs. Hawkins with Striker as referee. The loser will get fired.
* Tyler Reks beat Curt Hawkins with a roll-up. Striker hits Hawkins with the cane. Regal also fires Reks. Reks goes nuts as NXT goes off the air.

Hawkins training with Rock does nothing for his job security. Rock isn't around anymore to campaign for him (if Rock even cares). If Hawkins is released, Rock will post a tweet about it, include some inspirational hashtag of course, and that'll be it.

This looked like they are actually going to end NXT. Hawkins and Reks fired from the show, Curtis and Maxine must stay handcuffed till its over, O'Neil and Young given Smackdown contracts. It does seem like it is tying up loose ends.

NXT Redemption ending? ...I thought such a possibility was just a myth.
It's almost certainly just an angle, but I'd laugh hysterically if Hawkins and Reks really were released right after this and this was their final WWE appearance.
And I like Hawkins.
Don't get too attached to Sheamus, because I, and several other shareholders, are putting a stop to this shameful thing cold in its tracks.
