IMO some dream matches are better off staying that way.

Between Austins neck and Hogans back, in addition to their ages, nothing good would come out of a match

Yes it could. The WWE Network could air an all CGI dream matches show or it could be taped, with stuntmen, like another Hollywood backlot brawl. That's about the only way. Hogan is probably in worse shape than Andre was during their WM3 match. He's a lot older that's for sure.

I would envision alot of punches and kicks along with possible blood and weapon shots. If they kept it short, I think it would work out like Hogan's last TNA match. I think it might be amusing to see Hogan point at Austin only to get flipped the bird.

I think it might be amusing to see Hogan point at Austin only to get flipped the bird. That'd work, and it'd be the absolute best one could hope for given the circumstance. It wouldn't be the episodic epic the likes of Austin'd hope for, but it'd do.

It seemed pretty set in stone for WM22, but Austin walked out again prior to Taboo Tuesday '05, so no dice. But likely, there would have been some bridge between his feud with the McMahons over their firing JR, feuding with Coach, the rumored program with Mark Henry that was supposed to come out of that, and then eventually accepting Hogan's challenge for 'Mania.
In retrospect, while an Austin comeback in 2005-2006 would've been interesting, it's probably for the better that it didn't go down.

I hope not. All Hogan can do these days is basically throw punches and push people. I think the very little action he was able to do in his matches on TNA's European tours took a lot out of Hogan.

nothing involving Hogan and wrestling should ever happen again. He's almost 60 and he can barely move any more, much to the chagrin of his seven remaining fans.

Maybe if it's Austin versus Linda Hogan.

Let's hope not. Hulk can barely get around comfortably; and Austin isn't much better off.
The time for this to happen was a decade ago, if ever. Certainly not now.
