Nice story. The machine picking up her heartbeat through him was really cool and metaphorical.

I'm actually crying right now...I believe in true love (As I am in it right now), but this story reminded me of my mom and dad...its a beautiful story though

This kind of reminds me of a tale from Greek Myth about two old lovers helping out Zeus and Hermes, and when they died, their bodies were turned into two trees whose branches were entangled as proof of their love.
A very nice story.
