WWE staff: No we didn't we already established that he is former WWE star who went to Japan. We told everyone time and time again that he is American. Vince: SON OF A---

I imagine it going like Homer at The Bat, where Mr. Burns wants to recruit a bunch of dead players

I can actually picture Vince having this argument with WWE staffers lol.

Didnt Vince forget that Ray Combs was dead a few years back when they were doing the guest host thing on RAW?

Whoever Vinces last handpicked star to be the next Cena will pretty much only be there to then be replaced by HHHs handpicked star. There is a Sin Cara 2 somewhere out there and HHH will find him. Cena's replacement is Hunico?

Why is this even being reported, obviously Vince is always looking for the next big star/face of the company. It's just that those guys don't come along all that often.

Can it be D-Bry? That'd be nice. I'm actually suprised he hasn't been mentioned more. I mean, he's arguably the most seasoned superstar in the company under 35. He's got more longevity than Punk (who, barring something big, will probably be walking in a few years). He's better on the mic than Orton, he's got a built-in fanbase, and, like Cena, I don't think I've ever heard a single bad thing about him. If they were willing to take a chance on Bryan, I could really see him being the next guy. More than Punk, Sheamus, or Ziggler, even.

Bryan also has a lot of miles on his body though and lord knows how much longer he can hold out. Plus for as much as I like him, he just doesn't connect with the crowd like Cena did and still does.

I respect your opinion but to be clear....You're saying Bryan , The Guy who has thousands of people chanting YES YES YES every show is less connected to the crowd then the guy people almost rioted over at ONS? The same guy who the WWE admits that about half the fans Hate him?
