So, outside of them apparently turning Big Show for some stupid, stupid reason while he's one of the few faces anyone in the company cares about, what was so bad about this show? Haven't been watching, and based on these reactions going to keep on not doing so. For the go home segment, Cena gave one of the worst promos of his life that turned him into Dr. Evil interrupting Scott for ten minutes. The WWE Title Match had zero build to it, and the World Title match featuring four guys who couldn't draw interest to a credit card company is building up more and more steam. Throwaway divas and Brodus matches, etc etc. Show segment and the Punk/Santino vs. Rhodes/Bryan match were the only things I liked.

I guess this show barely avoids "I Survived..." status?

Still the worst. If it were a pantheon, the 2009 Slammys would be the Zeus. The 10/14 Impact would be Z-Gangsta. See what I did there?

So, did Lord Tensai not appearing ruin his gimmick?

This Johnny Ace storyline has to end. I don't care how enjoyable Johnny Ace occasionally is and Otunga always is, WWE Creative has murdered this storyline dead. They NEVER should have introduced the Board of Directors into story lines. The only reasonable explanation for Johnny to not have his power stripped by now is if the Board is on permanent vaca, Johnny has blackmail photos or that they're in cahoots with him.
Actually, the last theory isn't too far fetched to tell the truth...but still...
The Board strips Vince of his power because he's going to fire John Cena. You know, the same John Cena that AGREED to the stipulation of being fired if he lost the WWE Title to CM Punk.
The Board strips Triple H of his power because he wants to deal with things with his fists. You know, things like Awesome Truth invading PPV's and assaulting WWE Superstars even after being fired.
Now Johnny has trumped both Vince and Trips by not only humiliating and firing WWE main eventers for shits and giggles (how dare you insult my voice!), but he's also tried to injure the same man Vince lost his job over trying to fire. He tried to give things to Brock Lesnar that weren't his to give, he brought Lesnar in to try and put Cena on the shelf and he's also indirectly responsible for Triple H having a broken arm. Yet, hey man...the Board thinks you're doing a great job...keep it up.
Then again, I'm being annoyed by WWE booking. It's my own fault for remembering anything past last week.

Next Monday, I would love to see Laurinaotis in the ring to start Raw and a few minutes in hear, No Chance, if that's what you got, and see Vince power walk down the ramp, and in a few minutes, after some pleasantries, sell Johnny, "YOU'RE FIIRRRED".

I had no problem with the show. I kinda liked it. Here is why.....
HHH and Heyman was awesome except for the ridiculous use of the legal system...but works fine cause it is wrestling.
I don't have a problem with no build to the WWE title match because it sells itself.
The WHC did need more help which it got - Sheamus vs. Orton break down.
Johnny Ace was an awesome heel tonight with his segment against Show.... and Show acted for the first time in a long time.
John Cena came out without the brace on. Ok that annoys me but when hasn't Cena ruined an injury angle....kinda his thing. He is Super Cena. Cena was funny in an Ace Ventura way (I still love & will always love that character) so you can see why I liked that. Johnny Ace got cut down & now is prone to lose which granted isn't the best way to sell me on the main event. I like it better when the face is in jeopardy in boss vs. employee angles.
I will say this.... matches were pointless tonight.
The Raw was fine. Certainly not up to 2009 Slammy levels at all.

I want to create a"Why I Love this Forum" thread that consists of all the times one person or another has complained int the Raw thread that this is the worst Raw ever & kept watching. I like the product. I probably always will but if I didn't. I would not keep watching it. I am just saying. Keep being you & being unhappy. I only watch things that make me happy.

The first 15 minutes of a 2012 Raw is Triple H and Paul Heyman. Absurd yet awesome.

I think the only redeeming thing about RAW was when Johhny Ace was trying not to crack a smile during the Cena promo.
