I'm obviously biased, but I don't think it's too soon to do an episode on the 2011 Cardinals playoff run juxtaposed with the Pujols contract drama.

As long as MLB Films isn't the one making it, it'll be a good video. That's why I considered "Four Days in October" to be the worst of the original films.

I wish this started in the summer so I would have a reason to turn on ESPN.

I hope they go all independent this time. With no doc's done by MLB, NFL, NBA or NHL themselves. Some stories I would like to see or think we may see: Something on the Olympics - maybe the bid scandal around 1998 Salt Lake winter games Concussions in the NFL Maybe one on College baseball - Fresno St.'s run to the title a few years back

Bo Jackson should be interesting, as should Ben Johnson.

I would love to see an episode on the 1986 NBA draft. The number two draft pick overdoses a couple of days after being selected and a couple of other first rounders had drug issues and washed out of the league. Meanwhile in the second and third rounds guys such as Rodman, Mark Price, Jeff Hornacek, Nate McMillan, and Drazen Petrovic were selected.

Just like the June 14 1994 one, I hope we have one similar to a while back for the day that had the Saints suspensions, Rangers-Caps 3 OT, Weaver no-hitter, Seau's death. That was a surreal day.

I think they need to dump the format and start producing stories from earlier than 30 years. Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier, 1919 World Series, Curt Flood challenging the reserve clause and the 1957 NFL Championship game is a hell of a lot more interesting than Todd Maranivoch, Ben Johnson and Luis Tiant.

I'm with you on Luis Tiant, but HBO already did the definitive Curt Flood doc a year ago.

Because MLB did it or because it was a bad story? I am not a redsox fan but I love any show or movie about that 04 run because I believe it is the single greatest story in the history of American sports. That situation just doesn't happen, but it did and what it did for generations of fans and baseball cannot be understated

I wrote the following in October 2010 to explain why I loved, yet was also disappointed by, "Four Days in October".

I'm not much of a sports fan, but I loved 30 for 30. I hope the NBA ones are decent. The Pacers-Knicks one was my favorite.

I'm obviously biased, but I don't think it's too soon to do an episode on the 2011 Cardinals playoff run juxtaposed with the Pujols contract drama. As long as they skip over the World Series and just go straight to the trophy presentation or something. I can't mentally handle seeing any of that again. Once was plenty.
