Well, I did a thread recently asking you for your most evil characters in fictional history, so because I like counter-threads, let's visit the opposite end of the spectrum. Who are the most noble, good hearted and all around swell characters ever created?
Once again, let's steer clear from anyone religious.
I would guess that Superman and Robin Hood are up there.

Amost every hero has some sort of flaw that the reader or viewer can relate to. That's what makes them the protagonist and what makes you cheer for them I guess.
Even Superman and Robin Hood have flaws.
The most goody-goody hero I can every think of is Harry Potter and his flaw is that sometimes, he whined like a bitch(Understandably so, I mean he WAS just a kid). So I can't really think of the "Most good" character because they all have flaws.

Probably. His biggest flaw was that he was so good hearted that he was very easy to trick at times.

I mentioned John Hammond from "Jurassic Park" in the evil section. From the same book, however, is Dr. Alan Grant. Keeping himself and Hammond's grandkids alive and trying to make sure to get everyone he could off the island alive earns him a spot in my mind.

Goku. This is a guy who spared Vegeta after he and Nampa slaughtered his friends, offered to spare Freezia after he just committed another genocide (in addition to killing Krillin), gave Cell a senshu bean in a middle of a fight that determined the fate of the world, and wished Buu back to life after all the crap he pulled. This guy takes "turn the other cheek" up to Jesus levels.

Goku for all the reasons previously stated. Even Superman did messed up stuff.

atticus finch, attorney at law? Another "good guy" found in a popular children-adult type of book I read in school, Ezra Baxter (great integrity).

Aslan is the clear winner.
(does that count as religious? I don't think so...)

Captain Carrot Ironfoundersson from the Discworld Guard novels. Simple, NOT stupid, and incredibly clever at policework, and good to a fault.
