Who would Jason Richardson fit well in if Orlando doesn't keep him? Chicago would be perfect for him. They desperately need a 3point shooter who can also make their own shot. Richardson or Crawford fits the bill.

I honestly for the first time in the Mark Cuban era, have no f***ing clue what we're doing. We won't spend money on ANYBODY. We're letting every free agent we have walk. We took Rudy Fernandez knowing he's already signed a deal in Spain for after this season ends, our big signing today was former 1st round bust Branden Wright, and now we only want low salary guys from the Knicks in this trade. Who are we saving for? All these supposed big ticket free agents for next off season are going to sign extensions with the teams they are traded to and won't be on the market. I'm not even thinking about defending the title now, I'm just hoping we can keep our head above water.

Hasn't posted since July.

Five seasons, 82 games. That franchise can't catch a break.

No need to panic Tyfo. Help is on the way!
ESPNSteinLine Sources tell ESPN that Mavs closing in on signing of Vince Carter and could have deal to reunite VC w/Jason Kidd done as early as Saturday
lol "closing in" on Vince Carter. I don't think there was a bidding war.

I'm far from an NBA fan but heard something on the radio about the league vetoing a potential trade of Chris Paul to the Lakers because the NBA owns the Hornets and having Paul makes them more valuable to potential buyers.
So, is this the case? And if so, how is this not some sort of conflict of interest?

Since I don't think he'll have any real place on the team now that Chandler's coming to NYC, I can see the Knicks giving the Mavs Ronny Turiaf. He isn't Chandler, but he has flashes of brilliance every so often. And he has a fun last name to say. Although he isn't low-salaried, could be Billups, too.

So is Greg Oden officially the biggest draft bust in history?

So is Greg Oden officially the biggest draft bust in history? Given the amazing hype and how little he's contributed over five years, probably.

I don't even think Oden is a bust. Not the way I think of it anyway. When he was actually healthy he showed signs of being good. But he's just physically incapable of playing in this league. To me someone like Darko being taken at #2 and only doing what he's done in his career to this point is a bust. It isn't Oden's fault he was cursed with old man legs.

Michael Olawakandi is probably the biggest bust in NBA history. When Oden plays, at least he's productive. Kandi Man? Not so much

Forgot about Olawakandi. In his first five seasons in the league, the Kandi Man actually had a negative win share total (-0.1 WS in 323 games). Oden is at 6.8 in only 82 games. So Oden was without a doubt a better player when he actually played. That said, until Oden can actually stay on the court for consistent stretches, I'll view him as a bust. A heavily-hyped #1 draft pick with all the talent in the world who's only player a season's worth of basketball in four years (and maybe soon to be five). He still has a chance to change that perception, but it's tough to be optimistic at this stage.

The Mavs have popped up on the list of suitors for Samuel Dalembert's services, as Ken Berger reported that they could use a trade exception found on the Tyson Chandler deal to make it happen.
Ken Berger reported Friday that the Nets are more focused on landing free agent PF/C Nene than trading for C Dwight Howard.

The Knicks are finalizing a trade to send PF/C Ronny Turiaf to the Wizards in order to clear cap space to acquire C Tyson Chandler.
