I can't believe I'm the only one who hates the Angels. I actually refuse to believe it I hate their name and the stupid rally monkey. Does that count? I dunno, I find it hard to hate any team I don't really have a rooting interest against unless they're douchey or dirty. Though the Angels used to annoy me because the Yanks would always find a way to job to them, but that's stopped lately. The 2009 ALCS pretty much settled any beef I had with them.

The one good thing about being a Cardinals fan is nobody really seems to hate them as it's malice to spew at for nothing. Besides the good run a few years back, they kinda shoot themselves in the foot... I do miss you being in the NFC East. Always threw a monkey wrench in the division.. I wouldn't say so much it's "sotting themselves in the foot" moreso as "A little alien comes in with a device around the 4th quarter to make them forget how to play football".

NHL: Ottawa Senators- The rivalry between the Leafs and Senators has really gone downhill because the Leafs haven't made the playoffs since 2004 and the Senators haven't contended in several years, but Alfredsson is still there and that and some of the fans make it enough. Jason Pominville's goal in 2005-2006 to knock the Senators out of the playoffs was one of my favourite sport moments ever!
MLB: New York Yankees- What else is there to say? The Evil Empire ;D, and the fact that they are a division rival doesn't help the either.
NFL: Green Bay Packers- I'm a Vikings fan so the hatred is natural.
NBA: Miami Heat- My interest in the NBA has really done downhill in the last few years, but I needed to pick someone I guess here and why not the Heat because of the Big Three, one of which is Chris Bosh a former Raptor.
CFL: Hamilton Tiger-Cats- the Argos biggest rival!
Overall Most Hated: Ottawa Senators

NFL:
As a chicago bears fan, I would have to say The Packers(although i respect aaron rodgers), Vikings, and the Lions since they are in my division.
NBA:
As a bulls fan Im going to say the Pistions, I also dislike the Lakers because of Kobe, and the Heat because of Lebron.
NHL:
As a Blackhawks fan I dislike the Redwings

The Yankees.
27 Championships mean jack-shit when 22 of them pre-date the death of Disco.

The Yankees. 27 Championships mean jack-s*** when 22 of them pre-date the death of Disco. Then what makes 5 of the Red Sox's 7 championships?

Being a Scottish football fan, it's hard to pick between either of the Old Firm. Their fans are just so smug. And that's without getting into the minority of their supporters who use their matches as excuses to stir up religious hatred.

I can't believe I'm the only one who hates the Angels. I actually refuse to believe it I can't believe someone actually mentioned the Angels in a sports thread. Unless they were against the Yanks/Red Sox in the playoffs (Or getting Pujols), I always thought they were considered "That team by Disneyland" by the board (Except to me of course )

Unless they were against the Yanks/Red Sox in the playoffs (Or getting Pujols), I always thought they were considered "That team by Disneyland" by the board (Except to me of course ) Growing up as a Mariner fan, I basically had to hate them. The Rangers were a complete non-factor while growing up, and I respected Billy Beane and how he built a team, while the Angels had dirty players like Torii Hunter* *The only reason I call him dirty is because of one play against the Mariners. Someone on the M's hit one to straight away center. The ball bounced off the wall and into Hunter's glove, and he pretended like he caught it out of the air, and the umps agreed. The M's had a guy in scoring position, so that play cost the M's at least one run. Was it dirty? Yes. Would I care as much if a Mariner did it? No. Is it an unreasonable grudge? Hell yeah! Do I care? Hell No!

NHL:
Vancouver Canucks: Douchiest bandwagonist fans and a extremely dirty cocky whiny team. In Edmonton most of these sudden fans were well fans of Calgary in 2004, fans of Edmonton in 2006, fans of Ottawa in 2008, fans of Montreal in 2009 and so on and so on. Also many of them claim they have to be true fans for they have like a 3rd cousin or something that lives in BC.
Calgary Flames: Provincial rivalry but their inferior complex to the legendary franchise to the Oilers is astounding. Their revisionist history is also quite amazing. The fanbase consider themselves to be a dynasty team because they made it to the playoffs for four years in a row and have two out of the top ten players of the 2000 decade which is something Edmonton hasn't had. They constantly deny they missed the playoffs two years in a row and come to Edmonton trying to treat it as a violent playground.
Carolina Hurricanes: Not just because of 2006 but the team is extremely dirty. They have mastered the fine art of crashing into goalies and hurting them in the process and getting away with it. Drawing penalties by challenging players to fights and not backing it up. Dirty cheap shots galore and so on and so on.
Dallas Stars: For all the nightmares they have gave me.
Phoenix Coyotes: Nothing against the players of the team but nobody in Phoenix or Glendale gives a f*** about them. They wouldn't even be able to sell out a game if it was a game seven Stanley Cup final and if the best tickets cost $40 dollars, and the beer was a $1. But still the NHL stubbornly refuses to relocate the team despite the league losing $25+ million dollars every year keeping the team there because Bettman can't admit he's wrong and doesn't want to lose his favorite vacation spot.
CFL:
Saskatchewan Roughriders: I have nothing against being passionate about your sports team and I think it's mighty cool on how many of the fans travel to see the team compete in many road games. What I have a problem is when the Roughriders come into Edmonton, the people of Saskatchewan turn the city into Saskatoon/Regina. Many of them come into droves and heckle Edmonton Eskimos fans in Edmonton for being Eskimos fans. All the malls, shopping centers, traffic, and resteraunts are booked into the extreme because they are doing their annual Christmas shopping like festivals. Show some hospitality to the city you're visiting and using all of her fine resources. Save your heckling in the Commonwealth Stadium during game time.

The whole Chicago Bears organization spend more time pointing fingers at why they don't win games instead of fixing the problem. (It's the same problem every year.)
You got Super Bowl XX Bear "legends" ripping into the franchise, the coaches, the players. Nice way to show support for your team.
As a Packer fan finally getting a chance to ride out a good streak of 20+ years of good football, nothing makes me happier than to see conflict & uproar with your long-time rivals.
Screw the Bears and their Ditka-lovin' fan-base.

Me being a fan of the hometowns. So there rivials are most of my hates.
1. Detriot RedWings: A rivial. 2. Chicago Blackhawks: Another rivial that is more hated. 3. Chicago Cubs: It more friendly but the top rivial of my favorite sports team period. But it funny they talk crap but can never win a title. 4. The Reds: Mainly since it really became a rivial fast over the last few years. They want to talk crap. 5. The Yankee's: Mainly because the spend, spend, and spend. Just don't see the challenge in just buying any big name player you want.
6. Not a team but really fast Albert Pujols really is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. I have nothing against the Angels. It is him, the Agent, and his wife. When you build a legacy like he did in Saint Louis and was looked at as an iconic figure by everyone who is a fan of the Cardinals. Loved you for everything you ever did. Telling everyone he loved to stay and it wasn't about the money. To only go back on thoughs words that he said more then once. Had the contract there to sign.
To only read about how his agent called the Yankees, when the Yankee's didn't want him. News flash to his agent. If a team wants him, they call you, not you going and asking. Signed for the money. Making the excuses that the Angels had all these charities. Yeah what about your own in St. Louis Albert. What about Cardinals Care Albert. What you think that was? Then you have your wife go on radio and talk crap about the former team. Yeah way to be classy.
It's like he didn't care about anything he ever did for this city that made him famous. Once he signed he became a different person. Remember who drafted you after 100s of other players where. And all the other teams passed you by. Moving on, sorry about the rant. I used to be one of his biggest suporters and now I felt he lefted the wrong way.
7. The Patriots: I just can't stand the super star treatement for Tom Brady. It's just getting as bad as what Brett Farve was getting. Plus the last time the Rams went to the Super Bowl they won and there all these stories about the game. Kinda odd.

When Irvin was hurt, did anybody realize it was career ending, or was that after the f :-/act. It was a big hit on a hated player that got cheered. Everything else was greatly exaggerated by the national media. But I could see how booing is worse then rioting or injuring or physical distruction, or mocking a guy about his wife or family. . Nobody knew it was career ending but he was still carted off the field. I dont care who the player is I would never cheer for a guy getting injured and carted off the field. I suspect most other normal people feel the same way but we're talking about eagles fans here..... "The fans are ruthless and don't deserve a winner. I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured. I know at times I wasn't great. I hope and pray I'm playing when my team comes to town and (we) roll them. - Derek Anderson on Cleveland fans. Yeah, only in Philly.

I've been a Packers fan since I got into football about 20 years ago, and once lived with a girlfriend from Chicago. I hated the Bears before, but I loathed them after that.
The Patriots. Brady and Bill are two of the least likeable people in sports. Maybe this will fade when they retire (I didn't have a problem with them in the days of Bledsoe & Parcells), but at this point, I'm not sure.
The Cowboys. This has held over from the '90s. Jerry Jones is a part of it, the whole "America's Team" crap is a part of it, but the only people associated with the team that I have any positive feeling toward is Emmit Smith and Tom Landry.

Celtic. I have a theory that even if I wasn't a die hard, born and bred teddy bear I'd still despise them. I hate their ugly strip, their constant paranoia, their ridiculous excuses and deflection when they lose, the chip on the shoulder everyone's against us, why always me attitude. Also, team after team of ugly, ugly baby-scarers and a manager you just want to slap.
Also, the Boston Celtics. Cause they remind me of Celtic.
Also Aberdeen. Yuck.

I forgot to add the Saskatchewan Roughriders to my list. It isn't so much about the team, but the fact that their fans think they are the greatest thing on God's green earth!
