Ok... why are the Steelers still playing their injured quarterback?

So I finally saw Johnny Knox's injury, and all I can say is, how the f*** is he still alive after that? He was broken in half!

Ok... why are the Steelers still playing their injured quarterback? No clue. I mean, I didn't really like the idea of it in the first place, but now, it's basically because Tomlin doesn't want to take the ball out of his hands. Dumb move, IMO

Yeah, totally makes sense keeping Ben in there.

There is no reason for us to keep Ben out there. The number 1 seed is NOT worth losing our quarterback. Period.

This is some of the most baffling coaching I've ever seen. Ben's been shit all game and is HURT! They are late in the game and are down big. They are looking for a Playoff run. Big Ben is getting killed out there and they won't take him out. They are playing with fire.

no point in pulling him now. He's a competitor.. he's got guts. And if he goes back out there, they could be splattered all over the field.

I hope your ballwashing is at least somewhat sarcastic.

no. I've watched Ben play every year of his career. He's not played a single complete healthy season. He plays through so many varying injuries that would put most guys on the bench or keep them on the sidelines. His pain threshold is incredible and he plays well through his injuries. I'm not at all sarcastic about my faith in Ben.

OK, now they are just being stupid. Yank him. Or don't. Maybe he will get hurt out there to the point that he never regains mobility and has to be a pocket passer for the rest of his career (which won't be long behind that O-line).
Note: I don't wish that on him. I just wonder when that will happen since they keep taking these risks with him.
