So I recently downloaded GTA San Andreas on my 360 and BOY did this mission bring back some painful memories.
Even with the fixed fuel system this Zero mission is a pain in the ass. It took me like....30-40 tries to finally complete it. Many times I ran out of fuel after taking out all 5 targets.
Anyone else have bad memories about this mission?

I got to the point where I could reliably do this mission somehow.
If I remember correctly, you can knock out three of the couriers in the first minute if you know their patterns. Then it's a matter of crossing the city efficiently to get the other two couriers. The real pain is that you have to get the plane back. One time I actually ran out of fuel right above Zero's shop. I was so pissed.

If it were a person, I'd bite it's cheek off. I've beaten gta 3, vc, sa, lcs, vcs, 4 and bothx pacs. RDR and undead nightmare. But not that mission. *eye twitches*

I remember hating this mission so much when I first played the game. After learning the basics about flying planes in that game, it made matters a little easier. And yes, I have beaten the mission before.

I never finished this mission after getting painfully close.
I got the plane back to the roof of the building, but not in the exact spot. God I was so angry, it's on the f***ing roof just walk a few feet and there it is! f*** this mission!

I never had as much trouble as others have. I remember failing twice or three times, stopping for a while, and then doing it correct on the first attempt.

I hated that mission so much. I had to have my older cousin beat it for me, and I remember him having a ton of trouble with it also. It ranks up there with the fatal 4 way cage match from Day of Reckoning (or was it DOR 2?) in terms of difficulty. Actually, that cage match was easier because I beat it on the first try during my first playthrough.

Don't fly the plane. Take out the couriers by driving the planes along the road. It's much simpler.

Beat it twice, may have taken a few years off of my life but I done it! That mission was a total pain in the ass.

Couldn't beat it. I left it behind and tried to continue on with the game. But I spent way too much time frustrated with those last two Radio missions, and it always lingered that I hadn't completed that map before moving on. I eventually just quit the game altogether, feeling like a failure, and probably never getting the kind of enjoyment out of it that I wanted. It's not sour grapes that makes me say this, but I'm kinda done with GTA as a whole after that. Things were always tough, but eventually doable. I just felt they made that pretty un-doable for me, and the biggest thing about it: *it was a stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid mission to begin with; it shouldn't be the hardest GTA mission of all time.* Oh wait, that does sound like sour grapes. Disregard that statement earlier. *sticks out tongue*

I tackled it like any other mission and while challenging, I don't remember getting frustrated since I managed to beat it patiently after a while.
Only did it once, though.

Wow, I feel like I'm the only person who thought the mission was a lot easier once I learned how to fly. It's funny how the flying school kind of helped matters and then learned how to fly the RC plane a little better with the flight controls.

I remember it being a pain but got there in the end. Definitely helps if you've been to the flying school and keep the plane as low as possible.
I had more trouble with the 'All you had to do was follow the damn train' mission but let's leave that for another day.

I had more trouble with the 'All you had to do was follow the damn train' mission but let's leave that for another day. That mission took me at least 25 attempts to complete. It's an annoyance in GTA when you fail a mission for "losing" someone you are chasing when you can clearly still catch them if given more time.

I never beat that mission.
It took me 10 tries but I finally got all the targets, then I find out I have to fly the f***ing plane back!! I spent hours doing that mission. I cried a few times. f*** Zero.
But that wasn't the most frustrating San Andreas moment for me. When I failed the last mission because the guy hanging from the firetruck hit the pavement, I turned it off and waited until the next day to play again only to learn my only save file was corrupted. I almost snapped the disc right there.

Its been 7 years and I still haven't beaten it. I likely never will but I do plan on re-playing San Andreas sometime just because. I'll give it a shot then since I've likely improved on beating games since I was 13 but seeing how MOST can't do it, I don't stand a chance.

I've only beaten it once. And then I lost the game file and could never do it again. I'm pretty sure if I started it up again after so many years, that mission would still be on my radar.

thank god that mission was optional
plus on my second playthrough, the mission Zero gave before supply lines, i would repeatedly fail the mission just to shoot the s*** out of Zero, felt so good lol
