Currently finishing up the book for a second time, and this trailer really puts things into vision on what I have been reading. Can`t wait!
With the Prometheus trailer and this hitting the net today, I am really happy!

I wanted to hate the stupid hobbitses for potentially ruining my favourite TV show (being human) but that looks pretty damn good.

Great, more movies of people walking to a f****** volcano Sorry, had to. In all seriousness, never read any of the books all the way through (tried LOTR, couldnt do it), but I really enjoyed the movies. Cant wait to see this one. And Gollum at the end was awesomeness!

Looks awesome. Slightly saddened by the fact someone in the comments said it was a Skyrim rip off.

Really really cannot wait for this! I think Martin Freeman looks perfectly cast as Bilbo, should give the right mix of determined heroism and weary exasperation the role needs. Also really interested to see what ground is covered regarding Gandalf, the White Council and driving Sauron from Dol Guldur.

Oddly enough I've only managed to get through the Hobbit once, yet have read the entire Lord of the Rings once a year for the last eleven years, and read it four times between the age of 7 and 15.

What a massive Lord of the Rings ripoff. They even got the same actor to the play that wizard.
