I like all of them, but if I had to pick, I would go with the first one, with the third one coming in second.
I thought that the second movie was the weakest one of the bunch for some reason. The movie was still good, though.
I actually liked LFoDH. I don't know why so many people didn't like it. Yes, I can understand the rating part, which is why the unrated version exists. Yes, it was a lot different than the other three, especially with John McClane fighting against a fighter jet.
So which one did you like the most?

This. LFoDH is TERRIBLE as a Die Hard movie. As it's own standard action movie merit, it's actually fun as hell.

I liked third one the best, the second one is very forgetable ,the first one was NOT all that imo, and the fourth was pretty decent movie- but didn't feel like a die hard movie for some reason.

I'm a new fan of the Die Hard movies, having only discovered them just last year. I love them all very much, but if I had to put them in order it'd be 1, 3, 2, 4.
The first is just awesome and has the classic YippeeKiyo line.
The third is great with Sam Jackson and Jeremy Irons.
I like the second one because of the snow and atmosphere and stuff.
The fourth one isn't too bad, but it's no where near the first three, sadly. Still fun to watch, IMO.

I refuse to acknowledge the existence of Live Free or Die Hard, for a number of reasons.
the first one is best. 2 is not completely without merit (hyper profane Dennis Franz!), and 3 was sort of a return to form.

I never understood the hate for 2. It's nowhere close to the first, but I like it better than Vengeance.

2 is my second favorite based on the hilariously inept TV version.
Did they seriously think this sounded like Bruce Willis?

I've actually never seen the 2nd one. I was big into the Die Hard movies as a kid, but the video store didn't have the 2nd movie in stock, then as I got older I just lost interest in watching it. I haven't seen the 4th movie either because people made it sound like it wasn't worth watching. Anyway, I enjoy the 3rd more than the 1st. The 1st is a great movie no doubt, but the 3rd is one of my favorite movies of all time.

1 is amazing, 3 is good, and 2 and 4 are just sort of okay.

I say the next Die Hard movie they make should involve John McClane fighting vampires. That could easily outdo the previous four movies.

The 3rd by far, then the first. Was not a huge fan of 2 and I'd like to forgot 4 ever existed.

Die Hard With A Vengeance, followed very, very closely by the first.

I have to go 1,3,2 then Hudson Hawk, Ishtar, then that last one. To be honest 2 is not that bad, its just outclassed by 1 and 3.
