Cena does belly to belly suplexes in most of his matches. I understand that in your opinion you feel he has been trying. Would you care to give me a specific, recent example that shows how he is trying in the ring?

I slightly dislike the way Cena is being booked.
I am also somewhat disappointed that Triple H is looking to headline Wrestlemania, as I find this to be something of a repetition.
(Were those choice words enough, or will I still be flamed for being a stereotypical IWC punk-ass b****er?)

Would you care to give me a specific, recent example that shows how he is trying in the ring? I'm still going to disagree with you re. BtB suplexes, cause I've seen every RAW & PPV Cena match from this year, barring 3 weeks in the summer, and Monday night was the first time I've seen him perform that move. I feel that Cena's matches against Jericho and most of his outings against Angle showed him putting it all into his performance. His Judgement Day gimmick match with JBL was also pretty good. I also think that the way he has been booked as a superman-esque character has limited him to the 5-moves-of-doom formula somewhat, which is why I was pleasently surprised to see a couple of new moves thrown into his match with Edge. I'm not a big fan of Cena's, I don't hate him (such a strong word) but then again I don't like him. I just feel that, as champ, his ***+ performances have shown his best in-ring work. I dunno, maybe he isn't trying. It's just my opinion that, at the very least, he isn't not trying.

Why doesn't Cena do the throwback any more? And that legdrop off the 2nd rope on a guy who is laying on the ropes?

I haven't seen Cena do the Guilotine Leg Drop since his heel days in 2003. Could be that it's a move only when he was heel. He's also stopped doing the Bulldog (though he appeared to have replaced that with the Throwback)

Blaming booking for Cena's refusal to try is an attempt avoid the fact that he isn't even making an effort in the ring at all during matches. It won't be disappointing to see Triple H and Edge headlining Wrestlemania, or end up being repetitive. It would be incredible.

Yep, I believe that's the technical term for it.

Cena's wrestling has a " so what"? effect on me. He isn't improving or getting better in the ring. I noticed that the very same matches people saying he sucked in, such as: Jericho/Angle matches....are suddenly now being said to be better (even though that isn't true since they never were any good). His lousy, limited piss poor performance at Judgement Day which was the absolute worst match Cena ever performed in aside from the NYR match which was only second worst. Both PPV's were rear canal matches. As the sort of wannabe champion Cena is he hasn't performed or improved upon his moveset at all since he got the WWE title. Cena hasn't thrown any new moves into his matches with Edge.

y'know what? get a grip on reality before it bites ya in the ass. I have seen Cena pull off great moves. and he really does an incredible F-U on Edge from the Canada show. Saw some really impressive pics from the show.

In all honesty, Cena haters who hate on him because he uses a limited moveset...well, they ned to find something better to hate on him for. Cause just like with Hogan, I'm willing to bet that a lot of the blame for the so called 'five moves of doom', is the work of bookers telling him what moves to use. Watching Hogan in Japan proved that Hogan is much more proficient in the ring than he was allowed to be in the states. In addition, I've seen some of John's early WWE work and he was using a lot of various moves right up till wrestleMania 21, at which point he started to use the so-called 'five moves of doom.'
And may I remind everyone that, somehow or other, that tag originated with BRET HART because there were five moves one could generally almost always expect to see from him?

Edge vs HHH is more exciting, since I hate both but I'd mark for Trips in this matchup.
I'd love to see Trips put Lita out of commission with a sledgehammer and then bust Edge's skull open when he tries to retaliate. *evil laughter*
