I've never heard of a clause in TNA.
People get rematches when it suits booking, I guess. But in TNA I've never heard of "I'm invoking my rematch clause" like in WWE...it's more like the person in charge saying "I'm granting Winter a rematch"

It seems to me like the rematch clause only exists for the world title. Midcard champions have to earn their rematches, I guess.

It's baffling; albeit in the span of a month, Winter became a two-time Knockouts champion, blowing her zero titles in the WWE out of the water, yet in her last reign and seemingly now, she gets nearly zero coverage and far less than her challengers. It's getting hard to say if they're booking her worse than they did in the WWE.

She is probably a "yes" girl/company person who does everything told by management, so win-loss means nothing to her. basically not a m ark for herself, so can be taken advantage of, and doesnt bother defending her characcter/in ring persona.

Anyone else find it interesting that there's been almost nothing regarding the RVD/Lynn feud on any of these tapings? Isn't it supposed to be a major match at BFG? The Roode/Fortune storyline is quite interesting, since it contradicts the usual tenants of wrestling booking. Usually a babyface has to go through a heel faction to get to the main heel (as in going through all of Immortal to get to Angle), but in this case the babyface has to face off against his own faction. Lynn was in a random handicap match on a previous taping that had nothing to do with him and seemed to be to do with Immortal. But someone had the idea that it was initially supposed to be a tag match but RVD was brutalised backstage, so maybe that's why there's been little/no build-up so far. 'Cos Lynn and Immortal have disposed of RVD for now. And agreed, I like this Roode/Fortune booking, it's something different and interesting. It could also spin off into another subversion of the "face turns heel on champion stablemate" angle: one of Fourtune is turning on Roode, but wants to beat him for the title. So they won't interfere until after BFG, lest they cost Roode the championship, or they'll interfere to help Roode, then turn on him once he wins.

So will Sting say or do something that causes Hogan to forstall his 'retirement', or will it all be a ruse by Hogan?

I really, really like the Roode/Angle/Fortune stuff on these last several sets of spoilers. They put Roode over huge while giving us what seems to be some really good matches with the best guys on the roster.

Well, it look a year and a half, but Pope finally got revenge on Mr. Anderson (even though Bully Ray helped).
I am not liking Crimson being inserted into the Morgan/Joe feud. I had a feeling it would happen, but I think it could have waited until after BFG. Morgan beat Joe clean at the PPV and Joe beat Morgan at one of the tapings, so the rubber match pretty much wrote itself. If it is Morgan/Crimson/Joe at BFG, then they better start selling some tension between Morgan and Crimson because there is really no heat there. Having two faces against one heel will probably make the fans side with Joe (which I think Philly fans will do anyway). But this is probably just to get Morgan included in BFG since he has nothing else to do. Crimson/Joe is the real feud.
I am also liking Roode's push right now. I know people are going to cry that AJ tapped out, but Roode's solo push needs some credibility and beating Styles gives him that. There are so many ways this Roode vs. Fortune series + Roode/Angle at the PPV could end.
To me this Hogan thing is baffling. They just spent a year making him a heel, despite the fact that people wanted to cheer him, and now they presumably have this retirement thing set-up for him where he will leave TNA as a face (I'm assuming). Why have him heel to begin with? He should have been a face the whole time.

I just hope the Mexican America v. Ink Inc program leads to Ink Inc bringing in Christina Von Eerie as a counter for the outside interference from Sarita & Rosita. *crosses fingers* The KO Division badly needs some diversity of characters (though it has gotten better in recent months, and is still light years beyond the WWE Diva Division).

They gave Pope a win?! Color me surprised. Yeah, after interference from Devon's kids and Bully Ray... But you know what, at this point, I think I'll take what I can get.
