The whole "abuse of AJ" thing was to get Bryan some heat to counteract his babyface momentum so that the faces in the storyline could beat him and make him pay for being a "bad guy" to the casual audience. She is there to enhance Bryan's character to main event the house shows, and wrestle top guys on PPV. That's what a valet is supposed to do. He's not Stevie Richards to her Victoria, he's too important and positioned far too high for that. If she was going to cost him a title match, she would've already done so, before the booking made it apparent that why would the face need help from AJ to beat Daniel Bryan when they can do it by themselves. It would only make Bryan look dumb for being outsmarted by not the top face he's wrestling, but by his woman and take away the edge from the victory for the top face of having the same woman be the reason why he won. WWE simply doesn't book women this way. No, WWE books women in a way where they can't parlay the momentum they would get from a "humiliating a heel" moment into anything (as evidenced by Eve, who, after humiliating Michael Cole at Over the Limit with King, JR and Bret Hart, did a whole lot of nothing, killing any sort of positive response she would get as "the lady the humiliated Cole"). Also, R-Truth lost a PPV Main Event WWE Championship match because a kid threw his cup of water at him, ergo, any finish to a match is possible. Don't forget about Kelly Kelly last year. The same person who helped Edge retain his title at the Royal Rumble against Dolph Ziggler by taking out Vickie Guerrero, who helped Edge retain his title in a handicap tag match, returned from being fired to beat down Vickie Guerrero and sent Vickie packing from Smackdown. Only to do a whole bunch of nothing for the next several months afterwards until after the WWE Draft.

Just watched the segment. It was kinda adorable. Not sure what's gonna happen with AJ but it's obvious it'll play out with the Bryan vs. Punk feud. Most likely the reason why the match at Over The Limit ended that way.

I can see it now.
AJ is made the special ref at NWO for the match between Dbry and Punk.
Either on the go home show or at some point during the match Dbry will tell AJ that he loves her.
She then turns on Punk.

Only to do a whole bunch of nothing for the next several months afterwards until after the WWE Draft. Michael Cole was not a full-time main event wrestler that could be humiliated. Just like Vince McMahon can be humiliated by Trish because he's a non-wrestler. Those guys aren't counted on to wrestle full-time topcard schedules and in monthly PPV spots. Kelly Kelly got the rub from getting the best off of Vickie, not Dolph. When Trish got her "revenge" on Chris Jericho, she ended up turning into a slut heel and he went on to being a face. When Lita got her "revenge" on Kane, same thing applied.

Never know how it will end up with the way they change their mind so much, but right now it seems she is no doubt in cahoots with D Bryan since after Punk walks off she breaks down again from guilt.

I liked the segment, definitely see AJ turning on Punk at some point after she gains his trust. Also is it just me or is Punk/Bryan the only fued that has continuity and not a million plot holes. Heck even Cena was pointing out the nonsense in his fued.

Though seeing as how it isn't over yet, that gives the WWE plenty of time to screw it up.

I like it. A lot of people want the WWE to take their time with their angles and they are. I can't fault them for that.
Plus, with the No Way Out poster being what it is, you have to believe she's getting involved. For better or worse.

WWE.com's latest Poll: Answers are Yes! Yes! Yes! or No! No! No! Yes! Yes! Yes! is comfortably in the lead. Although I suspect it's more along the lines of "YES I find AJ hot" etc.

Jesus, AJ pulls off the crazy girl act a little too well I've gone from finding her to be a cute girl to absolutely frightening.

i LOLed at the part where AJ is crying on Punk's chest and he tells her "stop crying" then BOOM she immediately stops and starts staring at him with a "what is thy next command?" look on her face. and Punk can't believe his eyes before making his comment about crazy chicks
edit- changed the "why" to "what"

Atleast that is what I would have done. I wonder why I am bad with relationships.

You know what would be awesome? If the last few months was all a setup by Bryan. Everything from losing the title in 18 seconds at Wrestlemania to now was all a plan for him to lose the Heavyweight title and "break up" with AJ, so Bryan could go after the WWE title and have AJ help by screwing over Punk.

I bet AJ is great at acting. Well, she did attend Tisch (NYU). Wouldn't be surprised if she took a few classes there in addition to her film production classes. It is one of the premiere fine art schools in the US.
