I haven't had a boozing-related episode in some time, but my most recent was because of drinking. The last time because of illness was when I had swine flu a few years back. Tamiflu (the medication that they give you for it) causes vomiting and that's what did me in.

When I have a stomach virus I puke a lot. Haven't had one of those in awhile though.
Last time I puked from something alcohol related was a few years ago during the hangover, which was also the last time I had a hangover. Since then I've gotten a lot smarter about my drinking. Even when I drink a lot I usually have a lot of water, too. Sure I really have to piss when I wake up, but at least I'm not hungover.
I think the last time I actually puked in the middle of drinking was when I was 19 or 20. I have alcohol tolerance like a boss.

I'm proud of the fact I can count years between the times I've vomited.

the first two years I was in college I puked pretty much weekly. I toned it down a little though. Plus I have this medical thing that I can't remember the name of, something syndrome, it means I have more stomach acid than normal, and if I don't take medication I can get esophagus cancer.
Anyway, before the medication, I was throwing up all the time. Now, not so much. Years, I think.

At least a decade I believe. The time between puking has been less and less as I get older.

4 years ago was the last time i did due to booze.
Other than that, once in the last 10 years probably due to illness... on my honeymoon. My wife was 10 times worse. I pity the housekeeper at the hotel at Disney.

At my friends house and he just hacked up all over his GF. Made me think of how often I throw up, usually when I drink with large amounts of malk. Or when I eat something old/expired *fairly often* What's wierd is I can drink till I'm blitzed off my ass and never throw up. Do you throw up out of all three mouths?

Anybody else ever have their abs go into spasm when they hurl? That hurts like hell. Yes but as I have asthma I'm more likely to strain my chest muscles through coughing, those two things mean I now try to avoid anything that will lead to vomiting (drinking too much, rollercoasters, bumpy transport etc) .

Maybe once or twice a year. And usually because of alcohol. It's actually been a long time since I got so drunk that I threw up, but on New Years Eve I drank so much that I puked the next morning.

Vomit free since '93. I have Crohn's disease, so I find myself vomiting pretty regularly. Last time was about a month ago when I had a stomach virus. Other than that, I'd say I vomit probably once every couple months.

I don't get how people can say they haven't puked in years. Don't they ever get sick? I have a friend who claims that he hasn't puked since he was a kid. When I asked him how, he just said "I didn't like it, so I don't do it." Well, I don't like taking a crap but I do that. I just can't see how you don't puke when your body is probably telling you to, and chances are you'll feel better if you do.

Not often, but late last year I woke up so sick that I just puked on my bed before I had the chance to run to the bathroom. It was probably one the grossest moments of my life.

I haven't puked since...September 2007, I think it was. I was at a Black Sabbath concert, and of course, people were passing around joints in the crowd, so the place just reeked of pot. I'm straight edge, so I'd never been near it before, and some time later on the bus ride home, I just hurled for like half an hour straight. That night I learned that even if I wasn't straight edge, I'd never be able to smoke pot. Seriously, and no offense to anyone who likes a toke every now and again, I don't know how you do it. That shit is just plain foul.

I threw up just last week, after having too much to drink AND drinking it too fast. Mmmm...Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA ;D
Before that...it had to have been at least a decade since I threw up last.

It's been a few years, but I do remember one of my most violent episodes back when I was about 16.
I had a choir concert that night, and it was routine to me. I had no worries as I'd done many times before. I was fine until I got on stage. The heat from the lights absolutely killed me, the entire time we were on stage, I felt nauseous and weak. As soon as the concert ended, I called my parents. For whatever reason I made it clear to them that this concert was going to suck, and they shouldn't attend, so I got dropped off earlier that night. The problem was, I now needed a ride home and I lived across town...about 20 minutes from where I went to school.
Anyways, about 30 minutes later, my ride arrives and I still feel sick. For whatever reason, I knew I was holding back, and I don't know why I didn't just let loose while I was waiting for my ride. The ride back was painful and I could barely hold my head up, and again I don't know why I didn't tell my parents that they should pull over. Anyways, I finally get home, I go into the bathroom...and no sooner had I lifted the toilet seat, I just started puking.
You'd think that was the end of it. But I ended up puking about 30 times over the course of the night. I never left the bathroom. I had cold and hot spells and found myself getting 15 to 20 minutes of "sleep" before I would make it over to the toilet and puke some more. Everything came up...absolutely everything. I spent myself so much puking up all my stomach bile, to the point of dry heaves that made my eyes bulge out of their sockets.
Thankfully, while I was sick the next day, this wasn't continual. I didn't take any meds, outside of some Robitussin to coat my raw throat. Within 48 hours, I was fine and playing contact football.

Once a decade. and it's usually after I get the crazy notion to eat mac and cheese that you have to microwave. Happened to me in 95, 2004 and 2011, so I've sworn off mac and cheese in general.

Probably about 6 times a year and every time its due to a massive hangover. Sometimes you gotta pull the trigger the next day to feel better.
