If he's leaving the Colts, he's going to the Niners. More like the Skins. Dan Snyder would probably rename the Stadium after him. Is that where Peyton would want to go, though? The Niners would give Peyton a shot at another Super Bowl, because really there's nothing left for Peyton. They're standing there at 13-3 the #2 seed in the NFC, a young team, a team where he can throw to Crabtree and Vernon Davis, and a team with a damn good defense. If Peyton leaves Indy, he picks his destination, and I say he picks the Niners.

Right now I'd say Peyton's most likely destinations, assuming he doesn't stay in Indy are:
1. San Francisco (really good team, great pieces, great coach, nice weather, assuming they want to pay him) 2. Miami (assuming they hire Jeff Fisher, nice weather) 3. Washington (Dan Snyder's money)

Miami is a better destination, but Dan Snyder is a lunatic and would probably trade himself to get him.

Now that the regular season's over- your choices for game of the year?

Now that the regular season's over- your choices for game of the year? I still think it was the first one we saw. Saints vs. Packers on opening night. New Orleans on the goal line with a chance to tie as time expires. Awesome, awesome game. I think if we get the rematch it could go the other way.

More like the Skins. Dan Snyder would probably rename the Stadium after him. Is that where Peyton would want to go, though? bad news for him: if the Colts are smart, they won't care if that's what he wants. If they're going to trade Peyton Manning, they're not going to look for the best fit for him. If that's the way they were thinking about it, they would just keep him. They're going to get as much as they can for him, not worry about his feelings.

Now that the regular season's over- your choices for game of the year? Heavily homer biased: Giants vs. Jets because it reminded Rex that this isn't his town yet. More objectively: Probably the second Ravens vs. Steelers game. This is my favorite division rivalry with how hard both teams play against each other. And their first encounter wasn't that fun since the Ravens used evil bird totem magic to rout the Steelers. Second encounter was a lot better though. Both teams played really well on both sides of the ball and it came down to last minute heroics.

As nice as those games were, I had to go with the Jets game because of schadenfreude. Eagles game was diminished by losing the second one. Winning against Dallas isn't anything too new since we face them twice a year, and as awesome as the Pats game was, it was diminished a little by that losing streak after. The Jets game is something we only deal with once every four years and it shut up Rex Ryan, who I think is the most obnoxious personality in the NFL. And like the second Dallas game, it was win or go home.

Both ESPN's Adam Schefter and Yahoo's Mike Silver are reporting that the Jeff Fisher head-coaching sweepstakes are down to "two-team race" between the Dolphins and Rams.

Game of the Year: If I could narrow it down to five.
1. Packers/Saints. Not only was this a performance for the ages for both teams, bring back the excitement of regular season football, but it was probably as close to a guaranteed NFC Championship Game preview as any game I've seen this season.
2. Ravens/Steelers II. Could this have been the defining moment where the Ravens said no more to the Steelers tyranny? I could care less since I hate both Pittsburgh & Baltimore. Great win the Ravens, though.
3. Giants/Patriots. Almost everything reminiscent of Super Bowl XLII. Brady getting mauled. Late-game heroics from both QBs, and of course, Eli Manning coming out on top.
4. Patriots/Bills. Yeah, the Bills didn't end up doing much of anything after this emotional win, but one of the finest ways to end a multiple-year losing streak to your hated rival.
5. Packers/Giants. If the Giants make a 2007-esque run to the Super Bowl, this game will be remembered as the 'Turning Point.' Oh, yeah, and Eli Manning going step for step with the best QB in football today accounts for greatness of this game. Only slightly marred by the Packer receiving dropping all kinds of balls and the refs giving the Packers a couple of key breaks. S-Chrome bitching about refs? Must've been that bad.

Considering the hammering the Jets are taking in this thread this probably won't be the most popular decision but my game of the season was the Jets win over the Cowboys in the first week.

Now that the regular season's over- your choices for game of the year? Biased opinion: Chargers/Chiefs Halloween night. Arrowhead Magic is the only way to describe what happen that night. And it gave us two wonderful moments...

The Lions-Packers finale. Matthew Stafford has a nearly perfect game and Matt Flynn puts everyone on notice for the offseason.

The Vikings will reportedly interview ex-Bucs coach Raheem Morris for a possible "high-level defensive coaching position."
Ex-Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio will reportedly interview for the Chiefs' head-coaching vacancy on Friday.

@mortreport: Filed to ESPN: Penn State plans to make official announcement Saturday that Patriots OC Bill OBrien is new head coach Good. Someone completely unconnected to Paterno, Sandusky, and Penn State in general. They need a complete outsider and he's a pretty good candidate.

.... Romeo Crennel isn't getting the job, is he? He's still the favorite for the job. Well, at least that's what the fans think. The general thought is that Romeo gets the job and they hire a OC/headcoach-in-waiting... but with the Chiefs being the Fort Knox of information, we have no idea really.

Does he even do anything with the Pats? Bellichick pretty much runs every facet of that team right?
