For FREE.
Excellent review, it is a little late but what can you do. I wonder if Linkara is going to play any roles in Star Trek month. They hinted in the end credits. I could see an arc of Linkara trying to get into the Critic's house, and he won't let him in.

Really looking forward to Star Trek Month, although it's probably not fair to be doing ALL of the odd-numbered films. I like Search for Spock.

I remember I used to have the Santa Claus Movie Storybooks from McDonald's.
Never have actually seen the movie.
He's right about the scene where Dudley Moore being fired is one of the most depressing things ever put to film.
The reindeer crying was just too much.

Curious to see Doug's individual opinions on the films. While V and VII are largely trashed by a lot of ST fans, TMP and SFS have gotten much more mixed reactions as time goes on. I love Search for Spock truth be told, and think it captured the spirit of TOS better than any other film with the original cast.

I expect at least one Linkara cameo I'd be stunned if Nella didn't show up.

While it would be interesting to hear Doug's take on the Star Trek franchise, what else can he possibly say about them that other video reviewers (most notably sfdebris and Mr. Plinkett) haven't already covered in great detail?
Unless one of the videos is about the short lived animated series, that would be something new.

Unless one of the videos is about the short lived animated series, that would be something new. Sometimes its not so much what Doug says is considered new, but how he presents it. For example, I've seen several review of The Room. A lot of them are very similar to what Doug says in his reviews, but how Doug says it is what makes it funny.

Everytime I hear about a Santa Claus movie, I always think of the Tim Allen one. Never heard of this one.

Good, but he missed the silly fate of Jon Lithgow's character: {Spoiler}In attempt to flea the police, he eats a bunch of magic candy canes but ends up floating away..... INTO SPACE!
That also would have been a good segway into Star Trek month

I like the scene at the Congressional hearing when they show the lethal nature of all BZ Toys
Like the teddy bear or doll that is filled with rusty nails and broken glass.

FOR FREEEEEEE? ? Seriously, I saw this movie at a sneak when I was a kid and actually quite liked it. It's still a fun guilty pleasure from time to time. As for Star Trek month... OK, we got the Odds: Star Trek: Where Nomad Has Gone Before, Star Trek III and Star Trek V at least. But for four weeks, he'd have to do Generations too to make it. Interesting.

Star Trek month? Not a Start Trek fan, plus I was hoping for a Stallone-themed month, but I'll still give it a shot.

That also would have been a good segway into Star Trek month Yeah, that bothered me that he didn't mention that. That is still absolutely hilarious to watch, especially how Lithgow mugs for the camera the entire time. Also disappointed he didn't mention the obvious commercial time where the homeless peers into a McDonalds as sad music plays...the kind of stuff you might see in holiday commercials back then. Also...I wouldn't be surprised if Critic stuck directly to the Trek TV show, as already mentioned...Mr. Plinkett has reviewed the worst Trek movies and did a great job at it.
