I also remember when they said people who listen rap music disrespect women, but yea, my mom used to watch this every week and hold up wrasslin time. I hated that show, HATED IT. We only had one TV, and this was the roadblock before RAW.

I for one, absolutely loved 7th Heaven, but it wasn't the same show since Jessica Biel left. My only complaint is that it could be preachy and it ran on too long. They aired their final season on the CW and it was dull to say the least.

I used to watch it. Simon and Ruthie annoyed me. The middle daughter also because she always had problems that made her cry. Mila Kunis was on it as her friend the first season.

I'm disappointed that the line "MARIJUANA IS TEARING THIS FAMILY APART!" was not used at the end.

It was a really bad show. I mean, I understand what they were trying to do, I understand that they were trying to make a drama that promoted good family values, but it got so over-the-top with the cheesiness that it was just hard to take seriously. I remember one episode where the father was upset that people weren't singing the national anthem, IIRC, at a boxing match. There are some things that you can't take seriously as real problems, and it sort of muddies the message when you're trying to put it along with the other problems like drug use.

All I remember was Jessica Biel trying to get fired by posing in Gear when she was 17. I also love the joke Colin Quinn did on Weekend Update about it back in the day on SNL. "17 year-old Jessica Biel tried to get fired from the tv show 7th Heaven by posing semi-nude in Gear magazine. Yeah, that'll work. How often do you hear a bunch of men say, "Yeah, you know that hot teenager who keeps taking her clothes off? Get rid of her."

I've never seen an episode of the show, but I'll agree with this. Not saying that we need to be inundated with like-styled shows, but one or two per network would be refreshing, IMO.

Hated the wholesomeness of this show. The rap episode was probably the stupidest thing I've seen. It was pretty much a family values fantasy. That's as far as I can go without mention politics and such.

We only had one TV, and this was the roadblock before RAW. Oh, Nineties. I don't think I've ever laughed this hard at something trying to be dramatic. And to think, Aaron Spelling produced this; considering the fact that the show didn't complete until 2007, at the same time he was running this anviliciously moral melodrama, he was also directing Charmed, which revolved around three action girl witches, one of whom had an on again-off again relationship with a demon. Huh.
