Since I live in Hawaii we see Raw at a much later time then those in the Mainland. I had just came home from cruising with some buddies, and turned the T.V on for Raw. I got a good 5 minutes into the broadcast where Edge started doing the opening promo. Suddenly the damn screen froze and 2 hours of Law and Order was shown instead. I was no F'n Way! On the top of the t.v screen it said the following:"Due to equipment problems, WWE Monday Night Raw, will NOT be shown this week. We apologize for any inconvenience." Unlucky for us, everyone in Hawaii missed Raw tonight! So what then, was RAW good this week?

I quite enjoyed it. -RVD vs Carlito was the match of the night. Loved it, and Carlito did another high risk move!! -Flair vs HHH was good enough (not near their previous encounters, but it's hard for a normal match to live up to a cage and a last man standing match). -Vince was a bit long winded and rambly while explaining that he's forcing HBK into retirment. -Big Show vs Shelton Benjamin was ok, Shelton was doing everything he could to make it entertaining. Oh and Mama died. -Kane vs Masters was thankfully very short -Ashley vs Mickie was crap because Ashley was involved. -The main event was kinda eh (Edge/Lita vs Cena/Maria). The finish was horrible, but there wasn't much wrong with the rest of the match. -Foley showing up at the end basically seals the deal that Edge won't be getting the title back in the forseable future

And, as of this post, they're showing the same episode of Law & Order: CI that was on when Raw was supposed to be on. That's not cool. Guess i'll have to catch A.M Raw.

I thought it was pretty good. RVD vs. Carlito was the real main event of the night. HHH vs Flair was also great. Cena/Maria vs Edge/Lita was entertaining, though not for the wrestling of any of the four tonight. I marked out when RVD did the Van Daminator. I also think Cena and Maria have a lot of chemistry and work great together, and I hope they continue to pair the two up. CM Punk must be jealous.

The guy with Trish and Mickie was Trish's "date" Jack. She introduced him to Mickie, and Mickie looked jealous.

I have to say, that this is the biggest screw up on Oceanic's part. God, for the days when we could watch RAW at 6PM during the Spike TV era.
This totally sucks that I missed a good RVD match and the possible end of the stupid Mamma Benjamin storyline.
Hey, for any mainlanders out there, is it possible to give us a link to a Torrent to RAW?

I thought that creative stiffed out the main event. Okay so it was pretty obvious that Cena and Maria were going to win, but why bring Mick Foley back as the special ref for next week? It would have been far more interesting IMO and in keeping with the story to have Cena go "okay, so we win and I get to choose the ref, but hey, I trust Lita, so she can do it" Edge's paranoia meter couldve gone through the roof and it would have made next weeks main event something to actually look out for. Instead they just gloss over why Lita hit Edge with the belt last week and try to get Cena over further as a face by association with Mick.
Ah well.

Raw wasn't bad this week, it was pretty decent, nothing earth-shattering, but it was ok. RVD had a better match this week with Carlito. HHH vs. Flair was great yet again, even though the ending was pretty much obvious to most.
I didn't bother to watch the main event, as I knew where it was headed, so I'm not really looking forward to the title match with Edge vs. Cena with Foley as special ref, considering how it's going to go down, leading to a match with Foley and Edge at WM22, which I'll probably leave the room for.
Also, I read on one website (wrestling-news.com) that the guy that played Trish's date was Ray Gordy, the son of Terry Gordy who was last seen on Smackdown getting a face full of worms courtesy of the Boogeyman.
Apart from a potential Rey/Angle match, WM is not shaping up that well at the moment, at least not to me.

the only part of raw that i enjoyed was when hacksaw came out at the beginning, it seemed like for a second the E might actually use a legend for something other than a cheap pop. Sadly he was just their for laughs and for some reason mick foley is named the special guest referee with no prior heat with edge??? I don't know maybe i missed something.

I thought it was very good. Of course, when you have Maria in the main event, what else can you ask for? Nothing, IMO.
