I've come across some bizarre sex toys in my time. But the fleshlight is the one that weirds me out the most.
Apparently the idea was patented in the late 90's for "discreet semen collection." And it also comes in a wide variety of erm, openings.

I only know about "fleshlights" because of this weird dude I know from an efed.
College Humor can be hit and miss for me, but this was pretty darn fantastic.

I'm really curious as to how that idea came up. Either a guy misspelled "flashlight" and got the idea, or he wanted to f*** a flashlight without it being too weird. I nominate you to look into it. Then, and only after extensive research, come back and post a thread about it. The well being of the FAN forums is now in your flesh-filled hands. Do us proud. See, MOP already gave the answer - that means I'm off the hook right? right? right?! DON'T MAKE ME DO IT - I DON'T WAAAAANNNNNAAAAA!!!!

Gave this a look a bit ago. Got some chuckles out of it, but nothing that great and doubt I'll look any further into the site's stuff.

It was funny, but not exactly mindblowingly hilarious.

I like how this thread has splintered off into being general incredulity over the fleshlight.

I like how the bronies have taken this in good humour and the non-bronies have been all "UH OH THEY'RE ALL GONNA GET MAD NOW THIS THREAD IS GOING TO HELL". ...Carry on. To be fair, the MLP:FIM fanbase consists of the most thin-skinned fans I've ever come across, and that's saying an awful lot. So it's good to see not ALL of them are insecure assholes who can't take a joke. I think it all comes down to 4chan. A lot of non-fans (myself included) see the 4chan crowd and automatically assume that everyone is like that, which brings about the negative comments. The fan base then says this: ...But what they really mean is this: Honestly, the only thing I can really be critical about in regards to the fan base are the puns. No offense, but they are awful.

That was annoying too.

On the Fleshlight: It's a suction thing, let's leave it at that.
On MLP/The whole of the fandom: 95% of the bronies that are here, are probably the more level-headed ones. We're not above fandom squabbles, but resolve it quickly and internally. We don't want to be exclusive though.....we want to share the goodness with anyone that's willing to accept it.

The MLP fandom has a lot of douchebags and insecure twits. Which makes it like just about every single fandom to have ever existed. I just think it gets more scrutiny from some because of traditional gender roles decreeing that males can't like a show about ponies or they're somehow lesser men because of it. Which also explains why there are a number of bronies who are especially insecure about it.

I think there's an expectation that they expect that to be a factor, but I really don't think there is. Though, my view is pretty jagged on this : most of the (biological) males I know outside of work are either very effeminate, or pre-op M->F transsexuals, or otherwise shrinking violets. I have no concrete judgment on this, suffice to say that with many of the people that I associate with, the influence and the pressure is to slide away from the masculine as much as possible, as opposed to towards it. So I don't think it's as much of a factor as others think it is. But again, it could just be because the people I'm most familiar with are outliers.

I didn't even know MLP was a TV show till I came to this forum lol. I always thought it was just some girl toy like those pocket polly things.

For a long time that's exactly what I thought too. I don't remember when I found out it was a show (the 80's ones I mean), I probably saw it at Blockbuster or something. But yeah I thought it was just a toy line.

People who don't know what a fleshlight is have outed themselves as someone who has never looked at porn as their is an ad for the device on every porn site in the world.

Or they just don't want to admit that they've looked at porn. I've know about fleshlights for years. I'd never own one, but every single porn site I visit pretty much begs you to buy them.
