Do they actually GET a bus, or are they PERMITTED to get a bus without offending anyone? IIRC, Orton bought someone's bus, probably Show's because he's been doing that for awhile. I'm pretty sure that WWE wouldn't care if someone bought a bus. It sounds like this was a company perk for Punk though but I could be wrong. I mean, the higher card guys should be able to afford a bus that costs a few hundred thousand right? Sounds like it's the price range that would make it a good benefit from the company but not impossible to buy on your own. I wonder how much of a benefit it can really be though. I mean, do they just ride the bus instead of flying? Wouldn't that be impossible like half the time?

The guys who can afford it go for the tour buses because its a great way to relax by lying down and stretching out after a show, rather than jumping into a car and staying in a constricted position for however long theyre on the road. Orton gave this amongst other reasons for why he has his and it makes sense.

I mean if you live in Florida and have to be in California in 2 days the bus isn't going to make it, and once you fly there your bus is still wherever you left it last. Or do they have some jobber that drives the bus to the next set of tapings on the wrestlers off days or something?

Yeah, that "there's five of us" was from last year. Taker wasn't active, so he was talking about Cena/Orton/Show/Rey/Edge I think.
I also remember it saying Orton got Trips' old bus after he got the jet.

I totally want to ride the bus, man.
And this TOTALLY needs to be the subject of Colt's next Wrestling Road Diaries.

I also remember it saying Orton got Trips' old bus after he got the jet. I acutally don't think Edge has a bus. At a Raw house show I went to in 2010, Cena was the only one with a bus, and Edge was driving a Jeep. Orton, Show, and Rey weren't at the show, so I can't comment on their bus situations.

Reliable sources tell me he's ok with the bus, but was hoping for his own ice cream truck that played a carival sounding version of CoP. Actually, damn, I now have to use that in the next episode. This just gave me a visual of Punk driving an ice cream truck down to ringside and pelting Laurinaitis and company with ice cream bars

I'm thinking more along the lines of Austin and the beer truck or Angle and the milk truck.

You do realize that if it does happen, it'll be WWE who's making it. Now, do you really want that? Do you? Starring Paul "Triple H" Levesque as Phil Brooks, the story of an ex-con who is released into a world he doesnt know how to adapt to, all he has are a pair of taped wrists, a fur coat and gold chains. He must join forces with retired soldier Charles "Punk" Montgomery, played by John Cena, as Montgomery's wife has been kidnapped by alcohol abusing drug addicts, and only their straight-edgeness can save her. WWE.com calls it "The best WWE movie since Inside Out, or Legendary, or was it Inside Out? I can't remember, its the best since the last one we did."

I'd been joking that HHH allowed Orton to "Borrow" it, but that was news to me....
