I've never really cared for JR myself. Like, yeah, he's probably the commentator in the company, but I don't get the attachment to him.

For the first time in a long time I just completely lost interest in the show. It's not because of my admiration for JR (even though I've always loved the guy's passion on commentary), but rather how utterly classless this OK humiliation crap is.
You bring this guy back and he goes the extra mile to be company man for the months he's been there and then you just smear it all in his face on TV in front of his hometown crowd. After seeing the smug look on Ace's face I tuned out the rest of Raw. I don't care what anyone thinks of his abilities as a commentator; JR is the perfect company man and doesn't deserve this anymore.
I've been a wrestling fan for all of my life so I'll never say that I'm going to stop watching it, but the childish BS that goes on in this business makes it difficult to defend. There was no need for any of that tonight. Even if JR came back next week it wouldn't piss me off any less.

What makes it funny is how Ricardo just up and starts again for no reason.

Like someone else here mentioned, I'm surprised it was so relatively quick and painless. I was expecting him to get set on fire again.

I'm sure once Foley becomes the new GM, JR will be brought back. At least I hope so. Why do people think Foley's gonna be named the new RGM?

It's probably better this way. The only thing worse than not having him calling matches at all was having him brought back only to be cut off every single week by Michael Cole. The tease was worse than the absence. That first week he was back and he got to call Rey/Cena with Lawler it was fantastic. Then they brought Cole back and ... yeah. BTW speaking of Cole, what was the point of us sitting through 6 months of Cole vs. Lawler if it was going to change absolutely nothing? Thanks for that. Cole needs a public on-air firing, complete with JR throwing him in a dumpster. He kept crowing about it over and over and over as the show went on

I'd rather see Kevin Kelly than Cole personally. You can even use the heel KK from OVW (And rock's coming back anyway).

Regardless of what your opinion on JR is (rather, if you think he's overrated or not), can you honestly say he's worse than Cole and King right now? Because if you do, I would like to know how you do it...and teach me. For those that don't understand the JR love, he was there for all of the great moments of the Attitude era at the very least, so knowing that JR could pop up keeps us holding on.
Anyway, my issue with this annual humiliation is this...why does he stand for it? I get the idea of being a company man, but he surely has enough cash saved up that he can retire comfortably, right? I can understand being loyal and all that, but at this point it's like going home to an abusive husband every night. You keep telling yourself this time he won't smack you around, then you're shocked every time it happens. He's a bigger man than me, because I would've just taken my cash and told Vince to go f*** himself a long, long time ago.

I'm sure once Foley becomes the new GM, JR will be brought back. At least I hope so. Why do people think Foley's gonna be named the new RGM? Well he's not doing anything else and depsite the circumstances surrounding his departure he appears to be on good terms. They plugged his book, which was unusual because not only was he working for TNA but the book was all about his departure from WWE and his first few months in Orlando. So it seems a given that Mick will pop up in WWE again sooner or later.

Best thing to happen to the announce team. Cole said it best last night "Just spit it out already JR" Guy takes way too long to spit out a stupid catchphrase or line these days. Bring on the BOOKAH!

Too bad they didn't fire Lawler. He absolutely totally completely sucks. He's been cutting some fantastic promos but it's as if his heart isn't in the commentating these days. They need a new colour commentator soon but Lawler's good to generate heat for a heel with the odd beatdown and he continues to get decent pops.

Vince must have been having a wet dream over this one. It must have seemed so perfect to him. JR fired? in Oklahoma? By Ace? I bet they were planning this for months!

I am not at all ashamed to say that I am a JR fangirl - when he returned earlier this year, I marked out like a child. But, there has to be a point where enough is a f***ing enough. What is the point? Seriously WHAT legitimate reason is there to continuously pull this crap??!!!
They fire him, realize he's the best damn announcer they can get so they hire him back - and then rinse and repeat over and over and over and over. It's just complete and utter bullshit.
Like I said, I love JR and I'm upset that's he's not commentating but at this point, I wish they'd just make up their mind about it permanently. Either keep him on TV or keep him off, but just f***ing stop with bullshit.
