Just looking at it, there's the season premiere of Two And A Half Men at 9:00 that has been talked about hugely and will draw a big rating, or at least the beginning will. There's the Charlie Sheen Roast starting at 9:45. And of course we have Monday Night Football and all the other usual Monday shows.
The rating for next week's show may not do so well with all of these factors, despite being after a pay-per-view.

As far as I'm aware, all the CBS shows on that night have been bumped forward by 40 minutes or so due to the US Open, so that would place Two and a Half Men premiere starting around 9:40.

Yeah...
Raw's ratings dipping slightly isn't likely to change any time soon.
I don't think the dip will be as dramatic as others...yet at the same time it wouldn't surprise me if I was wrong on that.

Honestly, good. I'm sorry but I like having other things to watch during commercials. I realize many people watch these things during matches or instead of Raw entirely but hey, that's their choice. And maybe it will spare us stupid "We were the top show on cable!" "facts".

Two and a Half Men has always, and will always been an awful show. It is literally scientifically proven people who watch that show have an lower IQ.
Now that, that is out of my system. RAW fans seem loyal, doubt it will hurt the ratings that much.

Unless the rating dips below a 2.8, I don't think the WWE will be worried.

In other words, WWE will have a lot of excuses.
Don't think they don't love to have stiff competition like that right now. It allows them to dodge the truth for a little longer.

I would think the football game shares more of an audience with WWE than Two & A Half Men.
And most people I know who like 2 & A Half Men are boycotting this year because Charlie Sheen won't be on it. Ashton has a much smaller following.

I would like to also mention Giants vs Rams is one the least attractive early season MNF game in years

Yeah but the rating for Two And A Half Men will be HUGE in the beginning just to see how they handle Sheen's death in the show. If the show starts at 9, that's gonna hurt Raw's opening rating, which is usually the 2nd best part of the show in terms of ratings.

The Giants are a mess and the Rams are in the NFC West. That says enough about them, even without all the injuries they suffered Sunday. The NFL & ESPN is going to have one helluva sell job ahead of them if they want people to watch that game.

I don't understand why you people care about ratings so much. This isn't 1998 anymore. Are you use to there being a ratings war, and can't let go of the fact that there isn't 2 major wrestling companies going head-to-head? Ratings don't matter in this day and age, so get over it.

Ratings don't matter? What planet are you on? Ratings drive EVERYTHING on TV. If ratings aren't high, the network will step in and make a change. Ratings are a guideline for what actually draws viewers in. Ratings matter.

it bums me out that a show with Ashton Kutcher and a "roast" of a drug addicted, degenerate whore-monger are considered landmark TV events.

Ratings are actually how networks make a profit because they dictate the amount allowed to be charged for advertising.

Big Bang and all those other shows are basically all t he same thing except substituting out a cheap woman for a cheap knockoff star wars figure. Hate em both.
