Just notice this, but if the roster is correct, that's 4/5 of the Kliq in the game. I only need to download Scott Hall.

They bet huge on uDraw becoming a massive success on Xbox 360 and PS3 and are now stuck with 1.4 million unsold units in warehouses (equating to about $100 million in debt). And, of course, the game it's perfect for, WWE 12, is unsupported. Think about it, it probably could have been the answer to stop people from hacking the game, to a certain point, and they probably never even considered it.

Soooooooooooooooooo tired of seeing people on CAWS.ws whine about the roster. Like it or not, the Attitude Era superstars are in high demand, and will please far more people than the Usos and Tyler Reks would have. Exactly, if anything I like the idea of having a Current WWE roster & Attitude WWF/E roster. Y'know this kinda reminds me of UFC Undisputed 3 when they had a UFC & Pride roster Exactly. WWE fans are getting the best of both worlds, being able to play big-name rosters and events of present and past. Some people are huge fans of the jobbers, and I get that, but they aren't featured on RAW on a regular basis. The leaked roster features everyone who gets consistent screen time on RAW and SmackDown, and therefore contains all major WWE superstars.

And it was never the excuse in any other smackdown game. When guys like Sean o Haire or Mark Jindrak were in games it was never the excuse. If they want to have a ton of legends and retired guys, im happy with that. Although i barely use the legends in the game as it is, its still a nice addition. But dont cut the current roster in half. Legends shouldnt take up 45% of the roster, thats just overkill. Thats what i was upset about. I shouldn't have to pay extra for people who are actually employed by the company in 2012. In NBA 2k12, they didn't take out the 2012 Chicago Bulls bench lineup and replace them with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. These legends were additional. Thats all that should be done with the roster lineups in the WWE series.

So sick of seeing some people jump all over the roster like it's 100% confirmed. It's only the start of June, wait until at least Summerslam time, Jeez....

What I find curious is that THQ have all these money troubles but if never occurs to then to take a page from The Pokemon Company and release what is essentially two version of the same game. That would have sucked for the consumer but it seems like a no brainer of a business decision.

Agreed,it looks a good roster but until its confirmed,i wouldnt put to much thought into it.Certainly No Natalya would be a weird cut to make, and having Kharma in when she hasnt wrestled at all,not that i dislike Kharma, shes great but i cant see why she would be included as an on disc character having never had a proper match while Nattie gets the boot along with Layla and still no AJ,Kaitlyn or Tamina.

Hell, if anything, I for one would be all on-board with an annual game in March or so made from tightening up the previous main WWE one with some kind of roster gimmick to it.

They'll probably do what they did last year and have half a dozen or so divas as DLC. And to be honest, if you're going on the same criteria as the male roster, as in leaving out the ones who haven't done much, the only divas in the game would be Beth, Kelly, Eve and maybe Layla. You could make a case for AJ but she's pretty much a prop.

I feel one thing to keep in mind is that THQ is in DEEP financial shit, and this little marketing ploy with a roster full of Attitude Era guys is essentially like a license to print money. It's essentially like a game for every commenter on youtube that say they want the attitude era back, so they'll buy this. I mean, it makes perfect business sense. Reel in the casual wrestling fans that don't really pay attention anymore. Sorry, but more people would probably wanna play as the New Age Outlaws or Ken Shamrock than Johnny Curtis or Titus O'Neil.

Imagine if they would of left out Punk from the roster a few SmackDown vs. Raw games ago?

I don't think Punk was ever low enough on the totem pole to warrant him being left out. He's been in a pretty prominent spot since his debut on ECW. For someone like Drew McIntyre, or anyone else who goes weeks to months without appearing on TV, I can see them being left out. Yeah, it sucks if you like them, as I like a lot of the lower card guys. But, I can at least see the point that some are making for including popular attitude era stars over the lower cards. Mike Tyson I wouldn't be able to make a case for.
