I figured more people would be in the thread discussing the trailer. Overall it looks visually epic and Singer knows how to tell a great story in my opinion.
My only complaint is how Colossus looks. I would've preferred if they kept his X2 design. Sentinels look really cool as well I have to say, plus seeing Iceman using the ice slide? I felt like a kid again seeing that.

First 10 Minutes Of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Screens At CinemaCon {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Sounds pretty intense. I hope it's not the only time we see that group of X-Men in the movie.

I dunno. On the one hand the trailer makes the movie look like a hot frickin mess. But, on the other hand, that whole franchise is one hot mess most of the time so it definitely works on that level.

I hope it's not the only time we see that group of X-Men in the movie. {Spoiler}Considering the sheer number of cast members in this, I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of them only have a minute or two of screen time before being killed.

I thought the trailer looked great. My hopes are up for this, but we'll see. I was excited for The Last Stand as well, and we all know how that turned out.

I think it was Marc Andreyko who said it best on the Screen Junkies show: "I'd rather watch a Bryan Singer failure than a Brett Ratner success."

I am confident that this will be a great film. Regardless of how people feel in terms of Singer's adaptation of X-Men, one thing they can't deny, is that both X-Men films that he directed were extremely well received critically and fans enjoyed them as well.
With that said, I always felt he captured the emotional struggle of the mutants perfectly. There wasn't a time when I watched both X1 and X2 that didn't feel emotionally invested in the story, the characters, and I found myself caring for both sides of the spectrum in terms of the scope that he presented.
You can't tell me that you didn't shed a tear or choke up when Logan was desperately trying to revive Rogue, or when Scott breaks down in Logan's arms after watching Jean sacrifice herself, or that prayer that Nightcrawler says when they mourn the loss of Jean. Singer, in my opinion, produced results and I'd rather for him to be at the helm than Ratner again.

It looks fantastic. Not too sure why the younger Xavier is walking around though.

that's Mystique as Xavier.
There's another shot of them walking into Cerebro in this trailer where you can see Charles is in his chair.

It looks fantastic. Not too sure why the younger Xavier is walking around though. they'll explain it, and it will also fix the continuity error of how he got paralyzed in the '60s but wasn't paralyzed when he met Jean Grey in Last Stand or when he rescued Cyclops and the other mutants in Origins, which both happened several years later

It looks fantastic. Not too sure why the younger Xavier is walking around though. I had a similar thought, though Mystique should not have issues with violence by that point. I guess she could have been playing the part, though. I also noticed that Beast was not blue for the most part either, so who knows what is going on?

Here's a longer, somewhat different version of that trailer:
I like how they use the song from Godzilla (1998) for it.
