So there we have it.
Edge vs Cena = Ratings. I've talked about how I loved this feud recently, and this proves its worth. Not only did they have a great match, but the angle is probably one of the best feuds they had for the WWE Title in a long time. Edge and Cena just bring something out in each other that's so great.
I know people are saying Cena vs Triple H, and that wouldn't be too bad, but they need to put Edge in the mix, because Cena and Edge are doing so well right now, that it would be insane to stop their feud. Also, the cliffhanger ending will help the ratings for next week.
But, more then that, I must also bring up that Raw is starting to develop their midcard more (I knew it wasn't dead, just on life support). Basically, there's a lot of good rivalries coming up, and Raw's future is looking very bright.

The ratings have been around that level since the day after NYR, not after Royal Rumble.

no i think AFTER Royal Rumble = RATINGS But for three weeks after NYR, the ratings have been consistently higher then usual. So it's not just the Royal Rumble.

We'll see if the fans will go away now that Cena has the title again and will be keeping it at least until SNME, and likely past then.

I think it's still the shock value of the title changing hands more than once in a short period that has the ratings up; that said, they have a golden oppurtunity now to actually keep those fans hooked on a regular basis, rather than letting the ratings slip back to 3.5 territory. While those ratings points won't make them any more money, it'll certainly help increase PPV buys...or maybe it won't, but most likely, it would.

High ratings? It was all Snitsky's fault!
Then again, "High" ratings could be RVD's fault...

Actually, I only thought about this the other day:
Ratings increase= Monday Night Football being over.
Simple as that.

Actually, I only thought about this the other day: Ratings increase= Monday Night Football being over. Simple as that. Of course it is, but the Cena bashers need some new material to chew on... Thus this was created: Edge as champion equals higher ratings then Cena as champion. ::runs away::

There are alot of factors but last years bost RR had a 4.1 and the last time they had a month as good as this january was 2002. Lets face it Edge was fresh and new and intresting and people tuned in. One week may have been a fluke 2 weeks maybe a coincedence but 4 weeks and the best month in 4 years that is significant.

Dumb Spike execs are probably kicking themselves now. Hope they aren't pressuring TNA because of this, that promotion has to grow at its own pace.

Add Conway to the equation and the rating machine may explode...
... or just sit there doing nothing.
