Time for Tensai to go to the mid-card and put over some new face midcarders to strenghten and balance the mdicard.

Nothing about Tensai went right in that match. His push to Sakamoto looked lame. His offense looked soft and lazy, Cena pinned him and he did the jobber roll out, and Cena kicked out of his finish. I'm a fan of Giant Bernard, and was excited for Lord Tensai, but I just don't think the E is a good fit for him.

I hope Cena beating Tensai kills that gimmick. The big part of why Albert was so sucessful in Japan was because as Giant Bernard, he was everything Tensai currently isn't. Bring him back as A-Train and have him perform like he did in Japan without the weeaboo gimmick and you have, at the very least, a solid midcard heel.

I just want to know the kayfabe back story of why he is now pushing Sakamoney around. Being part of an abusive relationship helped get Daniel Bryan over huge, so maybe Tensai decided to give it a shot.

Truth be told, I'm surprised they didn't save his first loss for an encounter with Ryback. There could've been money in a battle of the undefeated mid-card monsters.

WWE over-thinking. When we want something complex and thought provoking, they give us simplicity. When all we ask for is simplicity, they give us Tensai. ''Don't overthink it,writers!''

Now not only is Tensai was not getting over enough, the monster push problem starts. He's going to become a comic gimmick, mark my words. I'd mark for a tag team of The Funkasaurus and The Hip Hop Hippo. A veritable animal kingdom of fat guy dancing, tattoos and squashing jobbers. do this WWE. sakamoto will come out and throw confetti

I hope sakamoto survives this and promotes other people so he can be shoved out of the way and bow during their entrances.
That was the best thing about Tensai.

I would hope that they at least have him come out as Albert and with Droz in his corner for the 1000th RAW Didn't Droz die? Or am I imagining that?

Didn't Droz die? Or am I imagining that? Paralyzed I knew that, I just for some reason thought he'd passed away in the past couple of years.

I don't think there's anything that can save the Tensai gimmick: if you ask me, it was doomed from the start. The real questions should be "Will killing the Tensai gimmick save Albert?" The thing is that even though I understand why they did it and what they were maybe trying to accomplish, for most fans, They know him as Albert/A-Train and they don't understand why they changed that. It would be like if when they released Eddie Guerrero the first time and after he came back to the WWE after his time in the Indies, they turn him into Roderick Strong-type character. It's not what the fans remember him as and they don't buy it because they've already seen the roles that those wrestlers are most comfortable in. So anything else just seems forced and hokey to those fans. I like this post, especially your Eddie Guerrero analogy. Creative obviously wanted to try something different with him considering his background, but this seems like a case where a returning A-Train just whupping ass would've been better. Of course, hindsight is 20/20.

At least the meme can finally die, now that we don't have to talk about Tensai getting ruined in the future-tense anymore. I don't know why, or even how, that became a meme. It was easily the most obnoxious meme created, just edging out Dolan Duck.

I kinda want someone to start a poll thread about "Will ____ save the Tensai gimmick?" I don't see how Snitsky will help Tensai at this point. Japanese foot fetish?
