Okay, I just finished Breaking Bad Season 4 about 45 minutes ago. And now that I'm officially caught up, I can honestly say this entire show kicks so much ass! I read interviews that Bryan Cranston nearly missed out on the role because he was seen as a "funny" guy, but damn, he is doing a great job playing Walter White. And Aaron Paul so totally deserved his Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a drama. And I can not only say I believe Giancarlo Esposito is a wonderful performer, but Gus Fring is officially a member of my Great TV and Movie Villains club. And speaking of Gus, {Spoiler}Holy %^#@, his death was brutal. Room explodes, he walks out calmly, fixes his tie, camera shows half his face is gone and he collapses. That was so bad ass. And here we are, a little more than a month until the fifth and final season begins. And geez, I cannot wait! What do you all think? Let's honor this great show!

I am usually not given to hyperbole, but Breaking Bad is in my opinion the greatest TV show of all time. It's the only show I've ever watched that makes me sit on the edge of my seat every episode and delivers every time.

Also, with Season 4 in the books, here are my questions: {Spoiler}1: What happens to Mike? Will he come back from Mexico and serve as Walter's enforcer?
2: Was it Walt who poisoned the kid? And if so, when did he actually get around to doing it?
3: Is Ted dead, or was he just knocked unconscious? Either way, I clapped when he tripped and slid into the wall.

Breaking Bad is the first show to ever get me to scream at the screen, then proceeded to do it again the next episode and the next and the next.......
The downside is that nobody'll watch it with me anymore.

Most intense feeling I ever felt during a TV show... {Spoiler}When Walt goes insane after finding out most of their money went to Ted. All while Gus threatens to kill their entire family and Saul tips the DEA about the threats against Hank There's like 90% of me that thinks the new season will kick as much ass as season 4, but there's still a little bit that thinks it won't be as good. Then again, season 1 isn't as good as the other seasons, but its still a damn good watch

Its incredible how this show has been consistently good over ALL of the seasons it has been. I struggle to think of a bad story arc or character. Everything is perfect, from direction, casting, acting, cinematography, music etc. Bryan Cranston is the f***in man and has been since MITM. Hyped for the last season, can't wait to see it.
If the last season goes as well in quality as the rest of it has then I have no complaints with them doing one movie. Depending on what they finish the series on. Obviously to keep the quality I would have the same cast and crew. They just can't seem to do any wrong with this story *knocks on wood*

It's actually hard for me to think of the seasons as "arcs," considering everything takes place within one year. And even if you try to divide it up into arcs, there are only two: Tuco and Gus, the latter lasting 2.5 seasons. And on that note about everything taking place in one year, if the show took place in real time, everyone wouldn't be using old flip phones. They would all have iphones/smart phones.

It's the only show I've ever watched that makes me sit on the edge of my seat every episode and delivers every time. Every time someone says "____ had me on the edge of my seat" I tended to roll my eyes thinking that's just a thing people say but I too found myself at the edge of my seat just tensing up every time it seemed like something terrible was gonna happen, or that Walt was gonna get caught. I rarely watch and TV that isn't wrestling or comedy but this show just hooked me in.

3: Is Ted dead, or was he just knocked unconscious? Either way, I clapped when he tripped and slid into the wall. {Spoiler} 1: That's a big question. It depends on how deeply loyal Mike was to Gus. It could be anywhere from revenge, to protecting Gus's territory, to working for Walt. We're just not sure. 2: That was Walt's doing. The shot at the end of the plant beside Walt's pool was the big giveaway on that one. 3: Ted's dead. The trip and slide was supposed to break his neck. Too bad that money's gone now.

The DEA would have been summoned once the firefighters would have found it, so they would have become wise to any operation like that that had the kind of air filtration hardware that Gus's laundry operation had. Without being able to make meth on a large scale like that, Walt would be a kingpin of nothing. I think this season is going to be about Walt trying to resume his life now that his cancer is in remission, and a new war starting with other cartels trying to take over Gus's sizeable territory.

I just want to get to the point the rest of the family actually, you know, finds out Walt is Heisenberg. Their ignorance and naivette is getting on my nerves. It's the same problem I have with Debra on Dexter.

Favorite current show on TV. Season 4 started slow but the last half is the best the show has ever been IMO. As for what I think happens in season 5: {Spoiler}1) Mike is going to end up being a liaison of sorts between Walt and whoever Gus's superiors work. Gus was the head of a MAJOR operation, and I doubt he was the head of it. Someone else was footing the bill for that superlab, and whoever it was is going to need someone (Walt) to take it over. Mike has no interest in being the leader. 2) The power has gone to Walt's head, and it's going to cause him to slip up sooner rather than later. I think Hank is going to finally find out. 3) Jesse I don't think is blindly loyal to Walt anymore. They're ok for now but I think we'll slowly start to see Jesse become even more confident and independent.

I like that Walt, Saul and Basger all appeared on HIMYM and Gus and Badger were both on Community.

The only people above him that could have been pulling the strings died at that party. 2) I don't know about that. Cooking meth was the way Walt made huge sums of money without having to teach. I think if there was a layer of protection that handled things above him, he'd be perfectly fine staying as a producer. 3) This I agree with. I can actually see Jesse taking on the leadership role that was left open by Gus's death, perhaps as an underboss.
I'm actually wondering how things are going to go at the car wash, now that there is no money to launder.

It's the same problem I have with Debra on Dexter. Dexter is a much, much worse show than Breaking Bad. At least it makes sense in Breaking Bad, where the only person who could realistically figure it out is Hank, who is gullible and just doesn't want to believe that his brother in law is a meth kingpin.

It's possibly the most perfect show on all fronts that I've ever seen. {Spoiler}I bet the finale of the show is he's going to die a very brutal death or he's going to kill/order someone to kill someone close to him. I can see him ordering him to kill his wife, Hank, or Jesse. I can't wait to also see more of his past life and his big falling out with that company he should of been and to see how his marriage wasn't always innocent in the first place. On how much they probably despised each other at first or during the early struggles.
Also I hope to see more flashbacks of Gus.
