Mike underestimated Walt until the end, IMO

Yeah, he was pretty un Mike-like towards the end, with tons of half-measures. Died a bad ass tho, with his "Shut the f*** up Walter and let me die in peace" Hank is getting himself into lots of trouble, is he going to be a factor towards the end?

Honestly, I think Hank is going to end up losing his job, either via continuing the investigation when he's been told not to or when Walt gets busted and the questions start coming. I think Hank is ultimately gonna go rogue and go after Walt himself. It looks like next week Walt has Todd's connections in prison take care of Mike's 9 guys, and I think possibly offs Lydia as well. I think Jesse is going to go to the DEA. He wants out that bad and when he finds out what Walt did he'll finally realize he's out of options.

How did Walt know about Lydia's list? Mike said to Walt that Lydia put a hit out on Mike but he was never shown on camera explaining to Walt or Jesse why Lydia tried to have him killed.
Also, those notes Todd kept taking. Walter doesn't want to cook on his own, but he employs Todd, who has a nasty habit of taking notes on making 99.1% pure meth, a' la Gale Boetticher. Walt is too cunning to let someone as unpredictable as Todd (especially without Mike keeping him under control) just take down evidence of a major drug conspiracy without any consequences. Methinks that Todd will meet his quick demise as soon as Jesse and Walt team up again to deal with the "list" problem. As bad as Jesse wants to get out of the meth business, he wants nothing to do with prison, and will pretty much do whatever Walt wants provided he can convince him without telling him that he killed Mike.
I mean really, what else is Jesse going to do? Five seasons in, Jesse Pinkman isn't going to disappear without a bang. And I doubt he's going to let bats*** crazy Todd take his or Mike's share without a fight.
Walt has no lower level to sink to, short of whatever he did to get to his current situation in the "Live Free or Die" episode. Whatever goes down in the next episode, no one is going to walk away without blood on their hands.

Dear god. The look of Walts face apologizing. He seemed to actually be genuine about it. Had remorse. Something he hasn't had for this entire season. I f***ing called it that Mike will die during the first half of this half season. I have no idea what is going to happen next on next episode. Something more shocking this last episodes ending, which is going to be hard to top. I don't even want to think what's going to happen. I'll eventually get ideas but I'm still in a emotional high. This might be the best season so far. This is one of the few shows I can think that seems to get better with each season and episode. It's amazing.

So...can you really just follow and bust a lawyer like that? I assume if he's off duty in that sense, they can. Plus, they found out about his frequent trips to the bank I believe. Either way, he should have trusted Saul...Saul is way better at this stuff.

Man, Mike was a bad guy but damn if that ending didn't just HURT.
It's like Walt has some kind of "accidental Super Cena" power.
I think the machine gun for Walt will be used against the new distributors AND some kind of mob family of Todd's after Todd gets it next ep and they get mad.
One more thing: that scene when Hank entered Mike's house and Mike ended up watching a movie about a police officer committing suicide...

I just have no idea how Jesse is going to react next week. I have no idea it frightens me. s*** is about to bit the fan or Walt strikes gold by doing something evil or a combination of both. I'm scared
Edit: Walt promised Jesse there wouldn't be anymore killings since he's in control and he killed Mike who has been somewhat a mentor/father figure to Jesse. This was a guy who gave him a chance and was infinitely patient with Jesse who just hit rock bottom and shaped him to be the badass he is today. More so than Walt.

Could Walt say that Mike just left town to Jesse, as he intended to do? Walt is the only one that knows about Mike being dead, and no one else was there.

I don't know, the DEA and Hank will probably go searching for him and find out he's dead. One weird thing I thought off for next season is what if Walter Jr. starts experimenting with drugs and tries out daddys 99.1% pure meth.

I think Jesse's going to find out about Walt killing Mike from Lydia. Walt and Lydia are going to have some interaction next week what with Walt getting the names of Gus's 9 guys. There's gonna be some shankin' next week.

There's gonna be some shankin' next week. There better be considering how long of a wait until the final half of this season and series ( I hope they make a movie) there is. This episode didn't let me down, and the show has never let me down before (i don't think that i haven't liked one episode in the whole series, best show ever) so I hope there are plenty of fireworks next week. Was it just me or did this episode have a different pace to it? Its almost like each scene was just building and building to the crescendo of Mike's death. The initial face off, the surprise of Walt cooking with Todd (I didn't even think of how they could fill in the role Jesse had cooking with Walt, so even more props to them for that), the argument between Jesse and Walt, the car wash scene and other scenes all leading to Mike's death. It's hard for me to say which are my favorite episodes because they are all great but this one stood out. I also loved how we got two music montage scenes this week with the lawyer at the bank and Todd and Walt cooking. The music montage scenes are one of the many things that are done so well in the show and one of its signatures, just great music they have used especially in montages

Yeah, Todd's a sociopath and he's gonna gop after Walt when he figures everything out. Which is pretty dumb.
