Tom Baker is 78, Colin Baker is 68 and Sylvester McCoy is 68 as well so the 50th anniversary would probably be the last big anniversary where you could have so many past doctors return.

It would be odd to see the previous Doctors looking older than they were when they regenerated, I’m sure we can all overlook that though.
This would tie in well to the “Doctor Who?” question though.

All it takes is one line from Time Crash to explain it, Eleven's showing up has shorted out the time differential.

Ecclestone is my favourite Doctor but has gone on record saying he hated doing it. Call me if he's in it and I'll come watch, but otherwise... I might watch it anyway to be fair.

If it comes to it they could Forrest Gump William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and John Pertwee into a scene

It's from Tumblr. There's a whole series of them. Harbek made a pretty convincing 8th Doctor one. Still, it must be said, if Moffat doesn't have any past Doctors return, he's a lunatic. How many shows get a 50th anniversary, and how many other big anniversaries do we have left where we can get so many Doctors to return? I mean I can see the argument against doing it. "Oh, it's so obvious. Fanservice blah, blah, blah", but you know what sometimes the obvious thing is the best thing to do, and if you can't indulge in some fanservice on your 50th anniversary, when can you? Most of the other anniversaries has had multiple Doctor stories to celebrate. The tenth had The Three Doctors, the twentith had The Five Doctors, even the thirtieth had Dimensions In Time. If anything, Moffat would be breaking with tradition.
