Anyone else agree?
So he returns, attacks Miz, and references the Jimmy's in a face like tone.
I think it's going to work if:
1. He still talks to himself
2. He still references the little Jimmy's like he did tonight
3. He doesn't change a damn thing
I truly think he's going to factor into a Cena heel turn, with Cena insulting the Cenation only for Truth to save the little Jimmy's.
Anyone else feel the same way?

I think he should remain heel. Raw really needs heels a lot more than it does faces, and there's no way he'll be as entertaining.

Loner face that talks to himself will pretty much be like a loner heel talking to himself. Truth must NOT align with anyone, that will be the key to his success. He doesn't need to play off to anyone but his opponent.

I'm in. I think he'll be an amazing face. I agree though, the face side is too strong. If Cena turns though, that's a great "by committee" top face scene with Punk, Bryan, Sheamus, Truth, Orton and Ryder

Well, Observer DID say a few weeks ago that they were looking to turn Truth face to market Little Jimmy merchandise, since the whole Little Jimmy bit was getting over like gangbusters.
I don't see it, but then I didn't see Zack Ryder coming, and I also thought Elijah Burke was a stone cold, can't miss, sure thing. So I suck at predicting wrestling trends.
But I'd be down for R-Truth ruling the world. Assuming they turn Cena heel, they're going to need to find some new tip-top guys to go to war against him.

All he has to do differently as a face is make comebacks, and do a few more funny things. I think some time he should enter the arena through the crowd like he used to, but instead of rapping he's quickly scarfing down a hot dog and nachos he got at the concession stand, and looking pissed off as hell and talking to himself.

Am I the only one that got out of that beatdown that WWE was trying turn Miz face?

Am I the only one that got out of that beatdown that WWE was trying turn Miz face? Given Truth was kind of half-playing to the crowd, Cole was bemoaning it, and Miz spent the entire segment before that being a condescending asshole, not sure where the face idea came from. It'd be a better move than Truth, though.

Am I the only one that got out of that beatdown that WWE was trying turn Miz face? If it was, then it's a poor way to go about it. Miz spends the past few weeks taking out baby faces and ends tonight match bitching about how the crowd doesn't respect him enough. Doesn't exactly make for a sympathetic baby face turn.

I'm so depressed. Face Truth sucks. He sucked hard. He was totally worthless. Then he made one of the most glorious transformations as a heel, and since WWE creative are full of idiots they had to make Miz attack him to get him off screen for a month and then turn him face to do so.
Crazy face truth will suck hard. In fact, I'd much rather see him go back to the lame horrid "What's Up" character. At least it won't be a depressing reminder to the greatest heel WWE has had in ages.

I can see it work of he does not bring up the conspiracy thing. That is more of a heel work.

Face or heel, I just hope this angle doesn't lead to him being fed to Miz.
Though I have the sinking feeling that's what's going to happen.

Shit. I'm split on this one. On the one hand, it HAD to happen. It was just getting TOO HARD to hate R-Truth. He was just too awesome. Hell, the live crowd was popping HUGE for his antics because, how could you not? Dude was gold.
On the other hand, Raw NEEDS credible heels. People talk about Punk burying Del Rio and Miz on the mic - if they (or the writers) actually STEPPED THEIR GAME UP and became interesting they'd be worth watching. Punk never says Del Rio isn't a hell of a competitor, just that he's a bland corporate puppet who's boring as hell, and that gives the fans a reason to not want Del Rio to get the belt back from Punk, who will finally make things interesting. It makes the contest mean something. Same applies to Miz. But they're not really providing for compelling TV. And other than a Punk/Jericho feud, the one AMAZING feud I could think of right now for Punk would be Punk v. Truth, which, with Punk's in-your-face antics and Truth's insanity, would be MUST SEE TV.
So yeah, I'd say feud him with Punk into the Rumble, then turn him face after Miz gets involved in the feud, leading to Punk/Truth v. Miz/ADR, adding Ziggler and Kane for the title at Elimination Chamber.

He's gonna get a midget sidekick called Little Jimmy. I can see it now. Then eventually Jimmy gets drafted to Smackdown and has a year long blood feud with Hornswoggle.
But yeah, that was a good way to have Truth come back.

Am I the only one that got out of that beatdown that WWE was trying turn Miz face? At first I thought that, but there was one thing that made me realize that Truth was going face. He never screamed "DON'T 'WHAT' ME!"

He can still be a face while being the same character. Just dont ever acknowledge the crowd, and have him antagonise heels.
