The gimmick battle royal on that show was pretty memorable for its mark out moments(I.e. Steve Blackman, Gangrel) as well as its comedy (Gillberg).
What are your memories of it?

- The Goon getting the worst reaction of all time
- Steve Blackman being in better shape than the entire roster
- PETE GAS
- IRS looking embarassed as he entered but having awesome music.

Huge markout moment. I was wishing for Adam Bomb to make an appearance, but still fun nonetheless.

IRS wins the battle royal, but then the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase comes out and buys IRS and orders him to throw himself out, making the Million Dollar Man the winner. Awesome. Simply awesome.

They should really consider doing a huge battle royal like this for Wrestlemania 30. Call it the Heritage Battle Royal, have it feature all kinds of talent both older and newer. Bring some huge names in for one last one-off match. Bring in some C-level surprises like this 15th Anniversary one did. Guys you never thought you'd see again...it's so fun to watch that.
I imagine they could also do this on Raw 1000 next July.

The audience's lack of reaction to Gangrel gave me a sad.
Watching Gillberg's entrance again made my sides split I was laughing so hard.

Earlier in the day, I recall someone (on maybe this board, or another I was on at the time) wanting Pete Gas to show up. Totally random pick.
And then he showed up, and even I popped - mainly because of that person's post.
I wonder whatever happened to that poster, and if their head exploded that night or what.

Steve Blackman looking AMAZING, and catching JR off guard.
Pete Gas making his triumphant return with his awesome music.
The Goon entering the arena to absolute silence, a sequel to WM17 (he couldn't even get a reaction from THAT crowd!).
Gangrel's fantastic fire entrance.
Absolutely nothing from the actual match.

Heel Doink.
The moment I saw him doing familiar mannerisms, I stood up and yelled "OH MY GOD, IT'S MATT BORNE!!!"

I just remembered thinking that Blackman should have stuck around and won the IC Title or something. He was in great shape.

It was a lot of fun. Always nice when there are guys that you don't expect to see.

Any video of this match? All I could find on YouTube were the entrances.

Not a mention yet of Bob Backlund's historic and most recent appearance in WWE? For shame. I hope he comes back and does something with them again, he's pretty great.

Bart Gunn coming out to the "Brawl 4 All" theme, yet was dressed like a cowboy. He could have come out to his Smokin Gunns theme.

That was the first episode of Raw I had watched since the Invasion era. I totally marked out for the Battle Royal, especially the finish. Though, I didn't start watching on a regular basis until the Nexus storyline.

Scotty's inclusion always makes me lol, considering he was only released six months prior.

I was there for this, it was such an awesome event... There were a ton of people hoping Bret Hart was going to be named the Raw Superstar of the decade or whatever the award was called, especially since there was a Bret Hart shirt randomly being sold..
