Cena = Mr Incredible A young up and coming wrestlerZack Ryder = Syndrome. Does that fit? Ryder is set up well with his own gimmick. I'd give the Cena-worshipping-turned-arch-enemy-mastermind role to a new guy who needs a distinct role.

A well established stable is bullying a young wrestler. He tries to fight back, but they just continue to beat the crap out of him. Finally, during a hardcore beatdown, when they are about to chair him into oblivion, a famed veteran reappears and dispatches them all. The veteran then takes the young wrestler under his wing and teaches him better wrestling and his finisher, though he can never seem to master it, so he keeps his old one.
The young wrestler enters a king of the ring tournament which has him go through evil stable member after evil stable member. In the semi final match, the second in command of the stable reluctantly does an illegal move and gets dq'ed, but the young wrestler looks too injured to compete.
But right as the champion is about to give a long promo, our wrestler comes out, the match is a grueling one, but in the end he hits the new finisher perfectly out of nowhere and wins the tournament. Heel gives him the crown and says he earned it.
The crowd cheers, You're the Best Around plays, and it sets up well for a feud with a newly pushed Yoshi Tatsu in the sequel.
