Even if this story is true, they still had a few backstage segments involving Ace and Otunga where they said Brodus' debut was delayed, but still happening "next week".
And then nothing. This was weeks after Morisson's beatdown and future endeavor-ness. What's the full story, you insider Bleacher Reporters who obviously know the full scoop?? (I'll hold my breath while I wait for the website to update the story!)

Does anyone know what his exact Twitter post was? If all he said was he was going to show up and take out Morrison, that isn't spoiling anything. That's hyping something. It's not like he was supposed to be a surprise since there were video packages promoting his debut. It would make sense in kayfabe that he would be hyping his debut.
WCW tried to spoil the outcome of Raw one time it gave them a huge ratings boost.

This company's so moronic at times. Usually I agree, but in this case I understand where they are coming from. The guy gave away a big surprise development and debut beforehand. Cmon that's just dumb. I don't know if I would completely scrap him like it seems they have done though. That may be a bit harsh. I agree. it reminds me of Lex Luger saying he was going to win the title the next day at a bar, so they changed it and he never won jack shit.

Spoiling a match that hasn't even been made yet is just stupid.

That tweet doesn't seem so flagrant to cost the man his debut, and honestly, how many people follow Brodus Clay? 99.95% of the audience wouldn't have had any idea about it.

That's a spoiler? That he was going to fight Morrison and was confident about beating him quickly? How on earth is that a spoiler and not just an in-character comment? The only "spoiler" about that is that the two were set to have a match, and that's called hyping up a show.
Jesus christ. WWE: You cannot control the information people get on the internet. Either work us USING the information, or give the hell up. You cannot be obsessed with Twitter and "internet fans" while punishing people for making comments about it; that doesn't work. As long as it's kayfabed, which this was, that should be fine.
PS Nothing short of the guy being arrested should cause you to not deliver on something you've hyped. I don't think they even know how freaking amateurish it is to do something like that.

I don't even wanna see this guy debut and I agree that this punishment (if true) is much too extreme for one tweet that didn't actually spoil anything in particular. Hash tagging squashmatches was more goofy than it was damaging or anything like that.

Yeah, no. First of all, Twitter has its bad and good. Second of all, Chris Benoit. I'll give you the Benoit point, but I strongly contest the other. Twitter has caused lots of trouble for many different pro wrestlers since its' introduction, there is no contesting that. It also helped people like Zack Ryder get over. Stop looking at the glass half, full, dude. It has its benefits and its negatives.

I don't think they even know how freaking amateurish it is to do something like that. Exactly. No other type of entertainment company I can think of does things like that. Only wrestling promotions like WWE and TNA think it's ok to promise something to their fans and then just not deliver with no explanation. I'm normally not even one to use the internet as a means of griping about their product, but it can be maddening sometimes the way they seem to take the fans for granted. It might seem like I'm overreacting over some video packages for a wrestler's debut, but if you think about it, they promoted it and if you bought into the hype and tuned in like they wanted you to and then they don't deliver it's kinda like they ripped you off.
