I'm calling it now. I think they have taken the US title off him to elevate him.
Ziggler vs Punk at Wrestlemania has 5 star classic potential.

That would work but I don't think it will happen. I think Miz is more likely.

I agree with the OP, Ziggler is going to go far. I think they were debating turning him face and dropping vickie when they added swagger into the mix, now I think swagger will turn face and ziggler will go super heel. 2012 will be Ziggler's breakout year.

I think it could be Ziggler actually, but it'll be a complete steal. Kane will dominate the match and break his 2001 record, coming down to Kane, Orton and Ziggler. Ziggler gets thrown under the middle rope at some point, and as Kane goes to eliminate Orton, Ziggler sneaks up from behind and throws them both over.
Only thing is, if Y2J is returning in a few weeks and we're assuming that him and Punk will face off at WM, shouldn't it be a Smackdown winner? I fear that with the location, it could be Orton. If it is a Smackdown guy, I'd like to see Cody or Wade win.

I love the prospect of Perfection vs. Dragon. Like a modern day HBK/Hart (too soon for that comparison? (Yes I know Ziggler is like Hennig, yes I know that D-Bry has the HBK link))

It was suggested by someone else on this forum but Ziggler vs Bryan and Jericho vs Punk. Or even if they switch it to Jericho vs Bryan and Ziggler vs Punk it would still work, but I prefer the first versions. Considering the match DB and Ziggler had at Bragging Rights it would be great

Ha. Fools! Having Ziggler win would be too nice.
You know it's going to be Sheamus.

I think he's definitely got a really good chance. Things just seem to have dovetailed nicely for him at the moment, he's "outgrown" the US Title and Ryder came along perfectly to take over the role and give Ziggler the chance for that main event level.
I genuinely think Ziggler's either gonna win it or have a really, really good Rumble and be one of the last eliminated.

That would work but I don't think it will happen. I think Miz is more likely. Me too, with the Miz challenging Daniel Bryan somehow, to reopen their 2010 feud.

Yea, I hope that's where Ziggler is heading. My only problem with it is that since Ziggler is a heel, his chances of leaving Mania with the title are much slimmer. The rumble winner this year NEEDS to win the belt or the rumble is going to look like a complete joke.

Santino will win the rumble. Who are you to doubt the crystal ball?

Would be happy for Ziggles to win, but would rather Wade. He never had a proper feud with DBD, and I think it could be the making of them both.

I will bet 7000 Schrute Bucks that Miz does NOT win the Royal Rumble. Miz and Del Rio will be in the Chamber match, but I think both guys are out of the main event for a bit. Miz will feud with Truth, and who knows with Del Rio.

A redo of Miz vs Bryan would be a good thing I think, they work well together and Bryan as champ early on feuding with someone that doesn't make him look tiny is a good thing

You know what I like? The fact that this Rumble doesn't have an obvious winner. Rather than one or two obvious candidates, there's five or six who could win it this year.
