The Streak ending in a cheap MITB cash in would be really stupid.
That is without question one of the worst ideas I've heard on this forum.
How about have win some matches and not be treated like a glorified jobber with a briefcase.

I know it's not the popular opinion around here, but Daniel Bryan only benefits from Cole's deriding of him. Really? Because Cole's deriding Bryan gets him such a huge pop, and Bryan totally shows Cole up every time by winning despite Cole telling the people watching that Bryan's a loser who can't win. Oh wait... We get it, you like Cole, but he does nothing to help Bryan, at all. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." It's really that simple. The more people boo Cole, the more likely they are to cheer Bryan. If I'm Daniel Bryan right now, I am very appreciative for all the attention being put upon me during my matches. The booth gets heated and emotional when Daniel Bryan is wrestling, and that's a whole lot better than hearing the typical all-around praise that face commentary teams normally spew out. It's better to be criticized and debated upon rather than be blindly respected and borderline-ignored.

But really, it's not that hard; just let him win some goddamn matches!

When's Christian supposed to be back? Bryan being goaded into putting his MITB briefcase on the line by Mr. "One More Match" would be good feud for both men.

That's a lot of jobbing to fit in one feud. How do they decide who has to win? Might just have to do plenty of double dq's so they can both lose

All that heat and emotion in the booth doesn't mean crap unless its also felt by the fans. And I don't see why Danial Bryan needs special attention from commentary to get over, when everyone else on the roster gets the normal treatment. All he needs to do to get over is to win matches and look important. He wins the World title from Henry or wins the fatal 4-way for #1 contendership he gets cheered. He loses in squash matches against Henry and Del Rio he gets no reaction. It's pretty simple.

He loses in squash matches against Henry and Del Rio he gets no reaction. It's pretty simple. Have you listened to the fans whenever there has been a Cole/Bryan confrontation? They go nuts. It's not that Bryan "needs" this special treatment, it's just that he makes sense for it. He really is an internet darling (as Cole likes to put it). He really is a guy that made himself a star on the indy scene. He is exactly what the WWE wanted for an "Us vs Them" sort of storyline. Bryan is supposed to represent "us" while Cole is playing a personification of everything "we" like to criticize about "them" (WWE management). While I don't doubt that Bryan can get over without this sort of special commentary treatment, I do think that what Cole has done for is put Bryan on the map far earlier than he would have been otherwise. I mean, Bryan has only been with the company for a little over a year and a half. I can't think of any other guy with Bryan's type of background and size that has ascended so quickly. Not even Punk was at Bryan's level of importance at this stage in the game (relative to their respective starts in WWE). I know I'm going to sound like a broken record here (if you read the Cole thread), but the problem with the announce team is that they don't really have a competent face commentator to emphasize the finer points about Daniel Bryan and call the action properly. Booker seems to be putting him over, but it doesn't really help when Book stumbles over his words. I'd really love for Matt Striker to be put back on Smackdown. It would make a world of difference to have a guy actually calling all of Bryan's holds, strikes, and submissions.

We'll let you know after Daniel Bryan release German Suplexs Skip Sheffield to the Moon. I thought he blew up the moon. Nope, Daniel just started to write his name on it with a giant laser. He got to DANI before he was stopped.

He's an underdog, right? So, he just needs to change his name to Bryan Daniel-san, have a manager called Mr Miyagi, use The Crane as his finishing move and...
No?

While this idea involves pushing Daniel Bryan, it involves both someone breaking The Undertaker's streak and ANOTHER Kane vs. Undertaker feud.
No thanks.
