Let's hope this one actually gets finished, unlike the album/song tourneys! Here are my nominees. With stupid category names just like last time, haha. RAWK HAWKS 1. The Rolling Stones 2. Love 3. Thin Lizzy 4. The Stooges Hiphoppotamuses 1. MF DOOM 2. Nujabes 3. Public Enemy 4. Goodie Mob Popsicles 1. Cornelius 2. The Beach Boys 3. Sly and the Family Stone 4. Marvin Gaye Wildcards 1. Johnny Cash 2. Van Morrison 3. Steely Dan 4. Nick Drake I've gotta ask why The Who and Janis Joplin aren't in your "rock" bracket. They're basically synonymous with the term.

Thank you for not letting this die! As for why The Who and JanJop aren't in Rock , it was hard for me to pick just four so I moved them to the wildcards.

I can honestly say that i can't think of 4 musical acts that i like for each category and i don't like submitting anything if i can't submit at least the suggested number so i'll be sitting this one out.

Fair enough, knailsic. I tried to put artists that generally didn't fit into the other categories in my wildcards section. (And Steely Dan, who I couldn't quite settle on as to whether they go into rock or pop...) And I can't let this die, we've gotta have a definitive musical SOMETHING here in Forum Games! I had the opposite problem as you, Loki. I thought of too many artists, and spent forever trying to narrow it down to four for each and exactly what category they belonged in.

There's never a County category in these things not that any county artist or songs would win I'm just a big Country Music Fan and feel slighted that Country music gets no category.
I'll nominate some for the Wild Cards
Rodney Carrington John Michael Montgomery Randy Travis Hank Williams Jr.

Sorry Brad but I'm getting so few nominations right now and I wasn't sure how well a country category would go over (I did think of putting one)

I thought they were a Rock group Wikipedia says they are a Rock Group The Monkees were an American rock band that released music under its original incarnation between 1966 and 1970en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MonkeesWith further research I discovered The Monkees count as both Pop and Rock.

Just my 2 cents, It probably would be best to move the country artists to their own category. Rock: The Clash The Talking Heads Smashing Pumpkins David Bowie Radiohead Rap: Beastie Boys A Tribe Called Quest The Roots Run DMC Notorious B.I.G. Pop: The Supremes Prince Whitney Houston Stevie Wonder Adele Country: Abstain Wildcards: Ray Charles B.B. King Bob Marley The Smiths Elvis Costello
