Rock has already announced he would be there, Punk says he is waiting. What if they have a confrontation in the first segment, then a WWE Championship match is confirmed as the main event between the two?
How would you react? Would it help the ratings? Would it be a good match? Should they save the match for a ppv or is Raw1000 a big enough stage? Will Punk even be champion, or will it be Rock going after Daniel Bryan?

The WWE Champion vs The Rock on free TV. Yeah, sure. It's the biggest episode of Raw in history. Why not?

I'd be happy.
FINALLY...no Daniel Bryan main eventing on Raw. Now...that's something I could chant YES! YES! YES! about ;D
That would be like an early Christmas present for me. I'm sick to death of looking at this guy, hearing his boring promos and watching his matches consisting mostly of kicks and boring holds.
This is just my opinion here folks, so to any of his fans I'm sorry if I offend but that's how I feel about him and looking at his mug all the time plastered on my screen.

The only reason i'd say no is because they'd NEED to advertise in advance for a chance of getting a huge rating.

Rock needs to stay far away from the WWE title. The only reason he would win it is so he could drop it to Cena, which would be a massive waste.

I'd leave the board for at least 3 days and let the other mods have the fun of dealing with the bullshit.

Seeing Rock with the non-spinning Spinner belt (yeah, well I don't know what else to f***ing call it) would just look weird. It wouldn't be as bad as Triple H with it, but it would still look ugly as sin.

They won't waste Rock on someone positioned so poorly as Punk has been.

Rock vs Punk at Summerslam build starts here. This, it makes so much goddamn sense it's insane! Cena wins MitB, Punk beats Bryan, Rock challenges Punk at SS, Punk vs. Rock, Bryan vs. Cena for the breifcase. Cena beats Bryan in a tough contest, and Punk beats Rock clean as spring water, leading to Cena cashing in on Punk and turning heel. This shit write's itself.

Let go of that wagon, Cena draws far too much moolah in florescent t-shirts for the 'E to ever compromise it whilst there's still a dime or two to extract.

Putting what could be a big money PPV draw on a free TV show with little or no buildup would be a late-era WCW level blunder.
